Chapter 28

Thaddeus POV

"How long has she been sleeping for?" Laurel asks over the phone.

The news about Aurora had spread quickly and everyone had been calling to see what was going on.

"Yea she is still is. It's been three days-"

"You know a wolf sleeps a lot when they are either sick, depressed, or pregnant-"

"I know Laurel, the doctor checked her and said that she was fine. They ran blood tests also. Everything is normal." I answered Laurel who just let out a sigh of relief.

"Do you want to speak with Caine?"

"No" she answered quickly. "I know how he gets, he must be losing his shit" Laurel replies lazily She wasn't lying. He really was losing his cool. He wanted answers and wanted to ask Aurora about what happened but we found her, she told us that she didn't remember anything, then she went straight to sleep. We don't know anything about what has happened to her, she didn't want to talk, she didn't want to say anything to anyone after that. We let her have her space, I wanted her to come to us when she felt ready.

I was looking straight at Caine as he sparred with my best fighters, taking them down, one by one as his eyes glowed bright yellow.

"You know him best Laurel"

She let out a soft laugh.

"I raise that boy as if he was my own, I don't have to see him know how he is feeling. It's strange though, you say that Aurora doesn't remember anything?" Laurel asked.

"That's right, she was on a solitary road when we found her in Russia."

"Russia? I don't know Thaddeus, but Russia-" there was. A pause before she spoke again. "Could your ex-mate's father have anything to do with this? If she was in his territory, he would have known. Russia is just as strict with its werewolves' laws just as they are with human laws.

"I was thinking of the possibility but I don't think a man of his caliber would get involved in a plan with a wicked man like Victor" I mention and Laurel lets out an annoying laugh.

"Listen here Thaddeus, for an Alpha you are kind of gullible and you need to out your balls in place. You guys killed Lena, his daughter. Do you think that a father, will stand by and just let that go unpunished? Did you think that because The Werewolf King justified Lena's death that, her father, will just sit there and get over it? You guys not only killed a Russian werewolf in foreign territory, but you guys also killed the seed of an Alpha. If he wasn't going to get his revenge in the future, he sure might be using Victor as an opportunity to get revenge now." Laurel replied back, I heard her take a inhale of her cigarette and blow out the smoke, I also knew that she was right.

I had to put a plan in action, I had to protect Aurora, my family, my pack. But we could not jump to conclusions until Aurora wakes up and tells us about who is responsible for taking her, and what had happened with her while she was in Russia.

"Now don't be there quiet boy, you know my words are making sense" Laurel jokes, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I hear you, Momma Laurel-

"Thaddeus! she is awake!!" I turn to find Ben waving from the second floor of the mansion. "Hurry up!" he yells.

"Laurel I gotta go!"

"I heard it, make sure she is okay, tell her I said hello, and give her a hug for me," Laurel says before she hung up the phone with her motherly soothing voice.

It didn't take long for me to get to our room. Caine was already there by her side, holding her hand and touching her face softly. Her eyes went from him to me and I just couldn't help but notice her eyes had slightly changed. I couldn't put my finger on it but, it was like she was a different person. I walked up to them and sat on the bed. She was silent for a minute before she launched herself at me, my arms wrapped around her and I held her tight close to my body. I was surprised to feel how strong her grip was. For someone that was sleeping for a few days, and was as small as she was, she sure had a very tight grip.

I pulled back from her embrace and scan her face and arms for any signs of injuries. She had none.

"Aurora, please tell us what happened to you back there?" I tried to sound as comforting and calm as I could. But I know that my voice was trembling.

Aurora looked away from me, and down to her hands. "I really cant remember. I can't remember anything, there were some people, there was also a big office, lots of old paintings down the one hall, and there was a female there, I can't picture her face or scent, I cant seem to remember." She says as she puts her hands on either side of her head.

Caine came to her quickly as he put his hands on either side of her face. "Shhh, baby you are here with us, and you are safe, you don't have to tell us everything okay." He gave me a look and I rose my eye brown, confused. Now it was not the time for hostilities.

VICTORS (THIRD PERSON)

Ally walked down a dark corridor that leads to two double doors. The screams of agonizing pain sounded muffled until she opened the door. The room was full of werewolves and humans. Their faces showed fear, rage, pain.

"Plea-Please stop this, I cant handle this much pain-" The poor womans words were cut short and Ally kicked her in the stomach sending her flying a few feet away before landing on another person, who also screamed as they too were in pain.

Ally looked around the room, her head was tall and proud.

"You are all ungrateful. How dare you guys react thisway? You have all been blessed with such power! The Strenght! why...would you not want that?" Ally rose her voice just enough before looking at the woman that she just kicked.

"We did not ask for such gift!" A young girl no older than 13 spoke up. Her pale blonde hair fell down past her shoulders and her eyes glowed red.

Ally sucked her teeth before rolling her eyes at the young female were wolf.

"That's what you say now, but wait until you feel it" Ally then takes out something out of her coat pocket. It looked like some kind of button. Ally presses it and everyone goes silent, waiting to see what happens. The young female werewolf was holding her breath as another female human pulled her way.

"Your orders, are to go out here, and contaminate anyone that you see, smell, hear. Leave no humans or werewolves untouched.

"We will not do this!" A middle age looking shakely spoke up. His voice was sounding dry and weak.

"Nope, you have to!" Ally replied back casually.

In a matter of seconds, the room was filled up with sceams and yelps and the sound of bones snapping in and out of place. It only took a few minutes for their transformation to be completed. And it was a scary sight to witness. Humans looked like werewolves, but with longer claws and their faces distorted in ways that no one has ever seen before. And the werewolves just looked bigger and scarier.

"Now go our children! Turn everyone you see into a Lycan! Share this gift with the world!!" Ally shouts before moving out of the way so that the newly created Lycans can run and take over.

She watched from the sidelines as one by one left the dungeon that they were being held captive in. Ally then takes out her phone.

"Yes, Alpha Victor, they are out and on their way. The city of England and the pack will be all yours in a few hours.

With that, she hung up the phone and walked towards the entrance of their hideout.

"Only a matter of time now." Ally says to herself before taking out a cigarette and lighting it up before walking away down the dark street as the screams of humans start to be heard all around.
