That Should Be Me

Staring at the night sky,
Tears are glistening in my tears,
As I saw you with someone,
whose hands are comfortably placed on your palm.

I reminisce all our precious memories,
All those lovers quarrel and some fights that are petty,
All I wanted is to be your last,
But little did I know what I did became your will to give up.

All those teases I did to you,
was my daily reminder that my love for you is true.
I always made you mad, smile and laugh,
Yet I didn't notice what I am doing was never enough.

Careful to follow you that windy summer air,
I never knew you would met someone who has a skin so fair,
I never intended to see you two kiss,
But all I can say is, that should be me, well I wish.

That should be me, the one you're kissing with,
That should be us who's happily holding hands,
That should be me, whose shoulders you'll always lean,
That should be me, baby you were my everything.

Chances, changes we barely notice.
Small things I was so oblivious I barely see,
You're no longer happy with me,
You're no longer inlove with me.

So now I wish upon the night,
That may the decision you did was right.
Maybe in another lifetime it was you and I,
But now it's just my daily wish in night time.
