LILITH STOOD BESIDE Allison in the library as she slid the tablet of the translated bestiary to Scott and Stiles through one of the bookshelves. Just the night before, Lydia had gone to Allison for help and ended up helping Allison instead. Apparently, the genius had gotten bored of Latin and decided to learn Archaic Latin. Just like every other normal high school student.

"It's everything Lydia could translate. Trust me, she was very confused," Allison told the three.

"Yeah, what'd you tell her?" Stiles asked, Lilith curious as well. She didn't see why they couldn't tell Lydia the truth, given everything that's happened to the girl because of the supernatural, but the rest of the group didn't want to.

"That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," she answered with a chuckle.

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Stiles told them so seriously that Lilith had to bite her tongue to not laugh. She didn't expect anything less from Stiles.

"O-oh, great," Allison said awkwardly, also trying not to laugh.

"Does it say how to find out who's controlling him?" Lilith asked her as she hadn't read the bestiary yet.

"Not really. But Stiles was right about the murderers." Stiles cheered, the others electing to ignore him. "It calls the kanima a weapon of vengeance. There's a story in there about the south American priest who uses the kanima to execute murderers in his village."

"Alright, see. So maybe it's not all that bad," Stiles defended, but Lilith still didn't trust it.

"Until the bond grew enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to," Allison finished, pulling out a book from the shelf to continue seeming inconspicuous.

"All bad. All very, very bad," the Stilinski boy corrected himself.

"Here's the thing, though. The kanima's actually supposed to be a werewolf, but it can't be-" the girl fell silent as the librarian walked by, waiting for her to leave.

"'Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it.'," Scott read, peaking Lilith's intrest. What could have possibly made Jackson want to turn into a giant snake-lizard thing and kill people?

"Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours in therapy, I could've told you that myself," Stiles snarked.

"What if it has something to do with his parents? He was adopted, maybe it has something to do with his birth parents?" Lilith suggested after giving it some thought. Jackson might not know what happened to them, but if he knew they were dead, that might be enough of a push.

"Yeah, does anyone know what actually happened to them?" Scott asked the group.

"Lydia might," Stiles offered, Lilith thinking it was worth a shot.
