Checker Pants Boy also known as checker leggings boy during the (daihaseisai festival only), is a minor recurring character of Toaru Kagaku no Code Vader. He is a classmate of Tedashii Hamasaki and a troublesome student who tends to pass urban legends alongside Hisoka & the Green hair boy.

The checker pants boy, with his dominant know feature to always wear some sort of lower checker style clothing is his most notable appearing trait. With either a red & black or white & black design. When taking part in the daihaseisai festival he wears checker leggings instead. Checker pants boy has dark grey hair. He has close shut eyes and always has a smile on his face even when he's upset.

As a resident of Academy City and student as all other students Checker Pants Boy took part in the Power Curriculum Program becoming a Esper. So far in the series such as his introduction, He display no Esper power, in case the status of ability name and level are unknown.

During the daihaseisai festival's ballon hunter, Ren assumes he is a level zero like Tedashii. And doesn't use it his abilities at all during the event. Hinting that Checker Pants boy's esper ability is inadequate.

Checker pants boy has great agility, enough to keep up with Tedashii Hamasaki for a while.

Checker pants boy is somewhat informative blackmailing pro who seeks out information to use it whenever it deems necessary are useful, always wanting to stick his nose in someones business, it could be reason enough why he gets along well with Green hair boy, and Hisoka. While running from Ren alongside Tedashii Checker pants is that of a complainer, always crying about the littlest of struggles.
