Shanna shrugged. "Who knows."

"Wait, if you didn't know who your dad was, how did you find out that it was Shanks?" asked Usopp.

"Idiot, surely it's because of the hair," Zoro commented.

"Well you're partially right." Shanna grabbed her hammer which was lying on the ground. "It's because he recognized my mom's hammer."

"So you didn't know who your dad was until you met him?" asked Luffy.

"No, I didn't."

"You and Luffy have that in common," said Zoro.

"So you saw Shanks? How was he?" Luffy asked excitedly, sitting himself down in front of Shanna.

"Oh he's fine. He was shocked to see me though, since he didn't even know I existed."

...

"Oof!"

All the bandits now laid in the middle of the street, groaning in pain. A short red haired girl squatted over them, poking them with the staff side of the hammer. Of course, the girl is none other than Shanna. "Oh come on guys, that's it? That wasn't even a proper warm up for me!" she said. She then felt blood lust targeted towards her from behind. As she thought, one of the bandits hid somewhere, and was about to do a sneak attack when she lets her guard down. Unlucky for them, Shanna never lets her guard down in a fight.

The bandit waved his sword in the air, about to cut her down, but the girl didn't even bother to move. All she had to do was push the hammer head back, jabbing him in the gut, and the sword went flying from his hand, landing on the ground. "Ugh, like I said, you guys can't defeat me," the girl said as she stood up. "Guess that's the last one huh..."

The doors to the stores and houses along the street started to open, and the civilians started walking out. Most of them had a frightened look on their face, but when they saw all the bandits unconscious on the ground, they started cheering and smiling. An old man walked over to Shanna and grabbed her free hand, holding it with both hands. "Thank you! Thank you miss!" he kept repeating as he shook Shanna's hand.

"Aha... It was nothing, really. Hurry and tie them up while they're still unconscious, and hand them to the marines," Shanna said. The other civilians hurriedly ran over and followed Shanna's instructions. Seeing all the bandits tied up, Shanna walked over to the side of the street, and picked up a large backpack that laid there. She put the backpack on her back and was obviously getting ready to leave.

"Miss are you just gonna go? You have to stay and have a meal at least! It's the least we can do to thank you!" The old man tried to convince Shanna to stay. The teenager, however, shook her head.

"I'm a pirate, so I'm gonna go before the marines come," she told them with a big smile on her face. She then waved goodbye and left the town. The civilians all stood there and waved her goodbye. After leaving the town, Shanna finally reached the ocean, where she found a piece of metal boat floating in the water, tied to a tree. Shanna hopped on the boat, and untied it from the tree. She stepped on a button on the floor of the boat. Once she stepped on the button, the boat shot forward, and raced out in incredible speed. "Yahoooooo!" Shanna shouted as the boat skipped over the waves. Now the boat was no wider than a kayak, and was powered by Shanna's custom made motor. Shanna uses a surfing-like method to control the direction of the boat. This is how she traveled from island to island the past few weeks.

Shanna wasn't heading to the next island just yet. Rather, she was actually going around the island, heading to the city on the other side. Instead of going back and forth on foot, she figured it'd be faster if she just used her motor powered speed boat to go around the island. And she was right, since it only took about an hour. She heard from the town she just left that the city on this side of the island is really big and bustling city, so she was hoping she'd be able to sell some of the gadgets she made and buy some more materials. After all, building a ship from scratch isn't something she can just with a snap of a finger. Back when the Heart Pirates first set out, they didn't have the Polar Tang. It was only when Shanna was able to gather enough materials that she finally was able to build the Polar Tang along with two other engineers they ended up recruiting. Shanna was the one who designed the Polar Tang though.
