Nobodies POV

"Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day." Rhodey says "You guys take care of him. And I'll bring him a Xorrian Elixir when I come back." Carol says

"Where are you going?" Natasha ask "To kill Thanos." Carol says

"Hey, you know, we usually work as a team here, and between you and I, morales's a little fragile." Natasha says

"We realize there is more your territory, but this is our fight too." Steve says "You even know where he is?" Rhodey ask "I know people who might." Carol says

Nebula is standing behind Carol.

"Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is. Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask where would we go once his plan was complete? His answer was always the same: To the Garden." Nebula says

"That's cute, Thanos has a retirement plan." Rhodey says

"So where is he?" Steve ask

"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it... Until two days ago." Rocket says

A hologram of a planet pops up, with a shockwave visibly traversing the surface.

"On this planet." Rocket says

"Thanos is there." Nebula says "He used the stones again." Natasha says

"Hey, hey, hey. We'd be going in short-handed, you know." Bruce says "Look, he's still got the stones, so..." Rhodey says

"So let's get him... Use them to bring everyone back." Carol says "Just like that?" Rhodey ask "Yeah, just like that." Steve says

Steve and Carol share a knowing look.

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this... I mean we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try." Natasha says

"If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Bruce ask

"Because before, you didn't have me." Carol says

"Hey, new girl, everyone here is about that superhero life. And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodey ask

"There are a lot of other planets in the universe. And unfortunately, they didn't have you guys." Carol says

Thor, who has been eating a snack behind all this time, stands up and walks over to Carol.

He holds his hand up, and catcher Stormbreaker as it flies over to him, missing Carol by inches. But Carol doesn't even flinch, instead smiling at the God of Thunder.

Thor smiles "I like this one." Thor says "I don't any mans validation." Carol snarks

Thor lets out a small smile, liking her fiery nature, but his smile disappears a little. "Let's go get this son of a bitch." Steve says

Carol turns to walk out but freezes upon seeing a picture, she walks over it and picks it up.

Everyone tenses. Steve goes to rip the frame from her grasp, but Carol turns. "How do you know her." Carol ask

"How do you." Natasha ask

"Her father ruined my life." Carol says "what did Odin do to you." Bruce ask

Carols eyes darken, remembering the day vividly. Hearing her own cries as her human parents take her from the bitfrost sight.

"He ruined any chance of me having a mother, he forced her to leave me stuck of earth." Carol says "who's your mother." Rhodey ask

Steve was confused, Odin doesn't seem the guy to kick an Asgardian citizen from their home and from their mother.

Carol looks down at the photo and caresses the image. Everyone's eyes widen. "Daenerys Stormborn." Carol whispers

"That's impossible, Your lying." Thor growls

Carols eyes darken. "Don't tell me who my mother is.... you don't know me.... now who is she to you." Carol ask "she's my wife." Thor says

Carol stumbles back, gasping, clutching her stomach as her heart drops. "No that's impossible, no no no no." Carol repeats

She was on the verge of having a panic attack. Her mother was dead, she was gone before she can even see her again.

"Hey hey calm down." Natasha says, rubbing her hand on her back.

"She did everything for me, she loved me more then any else in my life, she was willing to leave her own family to be with me and now I can't even thank her or hug her." Carol says

Thor was tense, as was Steve.

"I have no one." Carol whispers

She spent her life looking for her and her real father, whoever he may be, now she's all alone.

"We're getting her back." Thor says

Steve sends Thor a look. Steve doesn't trust Carol all that much, what if she was lying. All this talk of his mate was painful and now he meets her long loss daughter.

Carol looks up, Hope churning in her chest. "We're going to get her back Carol and we need you to have a straight head." Thor says, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"How." Carol rasp

"By getting the stones." Thor says

....

"How can we trust her." Steve ask "I feel it Steve, she's hers, she's Daenerys daughter." Thor says

"How do you even know." Steve ask

"She's my wife Steve." Thor says

Steve felt a pang, a sharp churn of envy. Right.

Steve nods sharply. Thor felt bad but it was true. Daenerys was his wife.

Steve pushes every dark and painful thought in the back of his head, he needs a clear mind for this mission.
