The Fat Cat

this poem is about my cat

who is really fricken fat

everyday she would hack

she would howl and scream

but she was too wide to go outside

she envied the cats who were skinny

it always seemed like she was failing and they were winning

so she drank bowls of cream

until her waist became lean

the pet door was open

she was skinny enough to go through

the grass was green and the breeze was cool

she met many cats of all shapes and sizes

and suddenly she realizes

she shouldn't have felt ashamed

that no matter how you were made

we should all be treated the same
