we sit silent
everyone is still, everyone is quiet
the silence is almost violent
we are blinded by our own entitlement
we can't see our own faults
and we blame the other side
to protect our own pride
feeling your blood boiling
you can feel the tension
everyone's emotions unfolding
logic lost in incomprehension
you know everyone feels the same
but no one says anything
because words burn the soul worst than flames
or maybe we should just blame
condemn each other for the sins we've committed
but at the end of the day we'd feel even more shame
our souls becoming empty, our souls being pitted
our hearts are slitted
bleeding more than blood
blooming a red bud of hatred
suffocating everything that is sacred
hate breaks families
hatred destroys friendships
hatred ruins innocent relationships
we have to notice the presence
and identify the source
and find the solution
