I'm Way Too Young to Lie Here Forever

"And why the hell--" he started to question, but Shinsou just growled, cutting him off.

"Just do it! And hurry!"

He barely had time to hear Katsuki say, "Fine," before he hung up, spinning around back to Jirou. That urgency had taken hold of him again, and it was getting harder and harder to push it away, now.

"Any luck?" she asked, a small smile flickering across her lips when he nodded. "Great! Mina said she'd talk to Sero about it." Hitoshi hated that a part of him hoped they wouldn't be able to join them. This was for Denki! He couldn't think like that!

Soon enough, a very agitated Bakugou was banging on his door, yelling profanities at his bandmates. "Shut up, Blasty!" Jirou had yelled at him, which just cued much louder fists to pound on Shinsou's door. He opened it for him before it could be broken. He knew Bakugou's rage would not stop for his poor door, and, despite how insignificant it may be, he didn't need a phone call from his landlord wondering why his door was broken to pieces right now.

"You better have a good reason for this," the angry, blond man grumbled as he walked into the apartment, immediately plopping down onto the sofa like the owned the place. Shinsou ignored him as Kirishima followed in behind his boyfriend, flashing Hitoshi a bright grin. He knew it'd be gone in a moment.

"Actually, Bakugou, we do," Shinsou said, the tone of his voice drawing the attention of the two guests. He never had that worried edge to it. They exchanged a glance, instantly being able to tell that this wasn't going to be good.

Rushed and hurriedly as to not waste any time, Jirou filled Eijirou and Katsuki in about everything, how Kaminari hadn't been seen since the show the other night, how they'd checked everywhere with no luck, and how they reported him as missing. When she finished, Kirishima looked just as fearful as Shinsou and Kyoka had. Even though Bakugou was trying to hide it, the other three could tell that he was equally worried.

"What do we do now?" the redhead asked after the brief explanation, looking between the three seated in the room with him.

Hitoshi leaned forward in his chair with his elbows propped up on his knees. "We're waiting for a response from Mina to see if she and Sero can join us, then we'll split up to look for him." Kirishima shot him a quizzical look.

"Aren't the police or pro heroes supposed to do that?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. Jirou shook her head, letting out a heavy sigh.

"They can't do anything for another eleven hours, at least." Bakugou's eyes narrowed at that.

"That's bullshit," he said surprisingly calmly, voicing everyone's thoughts. They all nodded. He was right. The authorities may have bigger fish to fry, but surely a missing person would still be near the top of their list. Shinsou did think that having to wait a couple of days before they investigated made sense, but if something happened to Kaminari, then two days could be too long to wait. Something really bad could happen in that time...

Shinsou forced himself from his thoughts when Jirou exclaimed, "That must be Mina!" after her phone chimed next to her. The three watched her in anticipation as she read the message, face unreadable.

A moment passed, and she gave them a soft smile, looking up from the phone. "She and Sero are on their way," she told them. A wave of relief flooded the room at the news. Six people might not be enough, though...

After a few seconds of consideration, a thought crossed Shinsou's mind. He jumped up from his seat, drawing the eyes of the other people in the room, but he ignored them as he reached for his phone and typed out a message.

"What are you doing?" Kirishima asked, to which Shinsou gave him a half-smile. He went to answer when his phone vibrated in his hand. Abandoning the redhead's question, he read over the response. His smile grew wider, and the other three looked at him expectantly.
