A/N: Song for this chapter: Everybody Talks by Neon Trees
"Are you sure this is the right place?" Shinsou asked as they approached the cafe Bakugou told them to meet him at. "Sero's" the front read, a large red canopy just below the fancy lettering.
"I think so." The two entered the small building, a bell dinging as they opened the door. The moment he walked in, Shinsou's gaze locked with a pair of golden eyes. Very familiar golden eyes. All at once, he remembered the man from the audience last night. It was him!
"Shit..." he and Kyoka both said the minute they walked in. They glanced at each other but said nothing more. Shinsou looked away from the blond man. He was even cuter up close, pretty even, he dares say. The way his happy, sunshine colored eyes sparkled, his smile lighting up the room, his perfect hair sitting on his head just right with the black lightning bolt through it--
Shinsou's thoughts were interrupted as he felt Jitou move from his side and walk into the cafe. Realizing he was just standing there awkwardly, he followed suit. Jirou sat down at the counter next to Bakugou, leaving the only remaining seat straight across from the blond man from last night. He prayed he wouldn't notice how nervous he was.
Carefully taking his seat, Shinsou directed his attention to Bakugou, who was talking about the lighting of last night's show. "I tried to talk to that damn manager before the show, but eyebags here was too worried about the other extra, and wouldn't let me go!" he complained.
"Yeah, where were you?" Shinsou questioned, focusing on keeping his voice steady. He was thankful it hadn't cracked--yet.
Shinsou watched the blond man behind the counter lock eyes with Jirou for a second before looking away. Was there something here that he was missing?
"I, uh, lost track of time." Jirou didn't sound very convincing. Shinsou heard Kirishima from behind the counter, who he hadn't even noticed until he spoke up.
"I saw them flirting at the bar."
"You saw that?" the blond man shrieked, slapping his friend. Shinsou and Bakugou just looked at each other before bursting out laughing. The two behind the counter looked confused as they settled down.
"Um, no," Shinsou started, whipping a tear from the corner of his eye, "pretty sure Jirou wasn't flirting." The redhead gave him another confused look. "She has a girlfriend. Unless she was, in which case," he turned to his friend, "are you cheating on Momo now?" Jirou just giggled, earning a slight smile from Shinsou.
"No! I'm not!" She punched him playfully. "The only one flirting was Pikachu here." The blond just looked at her, offended.
"Hey! How'd you know people call me that?" Jirou just pointed to the hoodie, which Shinsou found pretty cute, beneath his apron. "Oh. Right," he chuckled nervously.
"Hey, Dunce Face, aren't you gay anyways?" grumbled Bakugou. At this rate, Shinsou was wondering how many nicknames the blond had. But then he realized what Bakugou was actually asking and immediately turned his attention back to the conversation.
"W-what-- no!" the blond man stuttered. His friend laughed at him. "I-- Kiri, stop! I'm a proud bisexual!" he finished, lifting his head up and placing his hands on his hips. The redhead snickered.
"More like a disaster bisexual." The blond slapped him again.
"Tch. Homos..." Bakugou mumbled. Shinsou and Jirou just looked at him.
"You're one to talk," Jirou retorted.
"Wait," Shinsou started after a moment, "Is anyone here actually straight?" he asked, cracking a slight smile as everyone looked around at each other. No one said a word. "That's what I thought." They all laughed.
