Chapter 3. Ouch

Jisoo POV
I lay on my hospital bed thinking about Chanjun. What if it is him? What if he's the on- A phone call interrupts my thoughts. It was a number I don't know. I usually don't answer these calls but I have a feeling I should answer it.
I answer the phone.

Jisoo
Hello? Jisoo?
Hello who is this?
It's me Chanjun.

I actually called to talk about what you mentioned earlier.

Well yeah.

What happened?
It was a rainy day and I was going to run to a bus stop for shelter when I bumped into someone and fell on the floor. Luckily his arm was there and my back didn't hurt but our lips smashed together. We immediately got up. I slapped him and said I would hate him and won't ever forget him.

Chanjun POV
"Yeonjun?" I ask the boy by my bedroom door.
"Hyung? How'd you get Jisoo noona's phone number?"
"How'd you get it my house?"
"I know your password."
"Okay.
"But hyung how'd you get Jisoo noona's phone number."
"I went to a fansign event after meeting up with Jiyoung."
"You went to a BLACKPINK fansign and don't bother going to your own brother's?!"
"Check my top drawer." He went to check it.
"You got tickets to our fansign event?!?!"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"You even got one for BTS and Minseok hyung."
"Well duh."
"What did you call Jisoo noona about?"
"Her first kiss."

"I was her first kiss."

"Remember when I came home soaking wet?"
"Yeah. You just stormed to your room."

"So what happens now?"
"She said I have to find ways for her to forgive me."

"You don't need to help and I doubt she'll want me to ask for help."

"What are you doing here anyways?"
"I think Minseok hyung and Jennie noona made up." I get up and smack his head.
"What was that for?!"
"Nosy."
"Hyung I'm hungry." He says rubbing his belly.
"What food do you want?"
"Tteokbokki." He smiles.
"Go out and buy some or I'm cooking different food."
"If I stay here what are you gonna cook?"
"Bulgogi."
"I'm staying."
"You want ramyeon?"
"Yup!"

I cook food and we eat.
"Hyung what are you going to do first fo Jisoo noona to forgive you."
"Simple. Watch the stars with her."
"I think she'll forgive you."
"Pabo. She won't that easily. I know she won't."
"Then why would you do that?"
"I'll pretend I don't know what to do."
"Whithout you?" I smack his head.
"I'm not tryna sing a song lyric." I thought of something. "Authornim can you take away the cringey Yeonjun?"
"I'm afraid that's you real brother. It's how he acts. Luckily he didn't say a dad joke."
"True true true."
"Hey!" He shouts.
"I'm sorry."
"What are you gonna do after hyung?"
"After watching the stars with her, I'll go to a beach with her, then a simple coffee date, then what will make her forgive me for sure."
"And that is?"
"Her favourite."
"Which is?"
"I won't tell you."
The night went on and me and him just talked. He slept in his usual room.

Time skip 1 week later Jisoo POV
We've been discharged from the hospital except from Minseok. Chanjun hasn't called a single bit. He hasn't even called Chae. I don't wanna call him cos it will look like I forgave him.
"Unnie let's go to the coffee shop." Chae comes in my room.
"Why?"
"I'm meeting up with someone."
"Fine. Let me get ready."
I get ready and we head to Jiyoung's café. When we step in Chae goes to two familiar figures. Jimin turns around when Rosé hugs him.
"Oh! My chipmunk." He says. The other figure turns around. Chanjun?!?!?! "I'm here with Chanjun hyung."
"Hi. You didn't have contact with any of us?" Chae asks.
"I was in contact with BTS and TXT mainly sorry."
"So you weren't in contact with Sooyoung unnie."
"I obviously was. That's my cousin." He turns to me. "Hi Jisoo."
"I still haven't forgiven you."
"I know I know which is why I wanna ask you something."
"And that is?"
"Can you come to this place at 8pm?"
"Fine." I sigh. With that said he left leaving me confused.
"He's got something to do." Jimin says. I nod.

Time skip Chanjun POV

I was waiting at the place for Jisoo. I then see a silhouette walking towards me.
"Why'd you call?"
"My first try for you to forgive me."
"Where are we anyway?" She begins walking closer and almost falls but I pull her up.
"You okay?" I said with worry.
"Y-yeah." There was an awkward silence as we sat down on a mat I prepared.
"We're here to watch the stars." I tried to free us from the awkwardness.
"That's it?"
"No. I wanna know more about you whilst we're here."
"You do know I haven't forgiven you?"
"Yeah but you can be cold to me all you want just please let me know about you. I don't want to upset you ever again." The moonlight shone on her and I could see she was blushing. "What embarrassed?"
"N-no w-why w-would I b-be?"
"Cute." I smile. "Come on. Try be as cold as you can. Slap me if you want just like how you did that day."
"What do you wanna know about me?" She asks in a cold tone.
"Umm wait I need a blanket."
"Why?"
"It was so cold. The way you spoke."
"No it wasn't." There she did it again.
"I think I need to start a fire." She smiles a little bit.
We talked a lot. I joked around a bit. We took pictures of the stars.
"Jisoo-yah?
"Yeah."
"What would you say if I say I like you?"
"If I haven't forgiven you yet then I would reject you like that." She snaps her fingers. Why does it hurt so bad? My heart. What have you done Jisoo? "You okay?" She asks.
"Yeah." I answer with a smile. "What if I say I like you once you forgive me?"
"I barely know you. I'll have to think about it." There it goes again. My heart is sinking once again.
"You still love him don't you?" I decided to ask.
"Who?"
"Taehyung."
"How do you know about us?"
"Yeonjun. He'd tell me the ships when he was younger in school. He'd tell me once he arrived at home. The day Minseok came back from America he said, 'I think there's gonna be a new ship Minseok hyung and Jennie noona. Taesoo will probably last long, Liskook will last long, Jirosé will definitely last long.' He'd always say that."
"He sure is nosy."
"Yup. He really is."
"Anyways I should get going now." She says. I smile as we get up.
"Do you forgive me."
"No. You have four lives left."
"I only need three more."
"What do you mean?"
"I have three things left in mind. One of them I'm sure you'll forgive me."
"Why didn't you just do the one your sure I'll forgive you?" I kiss her cheek.
"I wanna see how you react to each one." With that said I left her.
It hurts. Her words repeat in my mind 'I would reject you just like that' it kept repeating in my mind. Why? Why does it hurt so bad? Ouch. I feel it.
