Shuyang's POV.
I woke up in a cold sweat. My vision was blurry I was on my bed.
"GouGou?" I call out but no response.
"W-Where are you?" I cried out. I was shaking and I could feel my heart pounding.
I pressed my legs to my chest and buried my head in my knees.
I was freezing but it's so cold. My body felt numb.
"Mingrui ge..."
"Shuyang, I'm here." A familiar voice said in front of me and I clutched onto the person's clothes as he welcomed me into his arms.
"Mingrui..." I let out a shaky exhale.
"It's going to be okay." His soothing voice calms me down within minutes.
He places his hand on my hard and I started calming down. I was shaking a bit less now and my heart wasn't going as fast anymore
"Ge, where did you go?" I ask shakily.
"I had to take care of some stuff up there. Don't worry, I'm here with you." He says and kisses the top of my head.
"Please don't leave me..."
"Don't worry, I'll be by your side forever."
