Maya looked as she saw how her daughter and other was very vaguely around her waiting for the right moment to tell her daughter some kind of huge news but didn't know what it was.
"Mom, what is going on?" Maya asked and Katy exhaled.
"I hot a call from Mason and..."
"I told him I'm not getting involved with that man. Dad left, Mom. Not just did he leave you alone with a toddler but he only took one of his children and kept twins apart for 12 years. How do you move forward from that?" Maya asked.
"I know it's hard, Maya, but try to understand. It's a guy thing which no woman would ever understand," Katy said.
"Then this is a girl thing which no man will understand. I'm not going to forgive him," Maya said.
