MADELINE POV
We had arrived at Grace and Ian's home. I rang the doorbell and a maid opened the door to greet us.
"They're in the dining room." She said to us.
"Thank you" I answered.
Grayson held my hand as we walked over to the dining room
As soon as we arrived, we greeted everyone.
Jack and his wife Kennedy were already here.
"It's so nice to have all my kids here with me. It's been a while since we had dinner together." Grace was clearly happy.
I had missed Grace and Ian. They were like my parents.
"So what's the big surprise?" Jack asked.
I was also curious.
"He was supposed to be here already. I wonder what's taking him so long?" Grace spoke.
I wonder who she was talking about?
Suddenly I saw William walk in.
"William just moved to New York. He found a job at a hospital here so I thought we could celebrate with him." Grace seemed very proud of him.
I stood up and hugged William.
It had been a while since I had last seen him. He was like a brother to me and my best friend when I was living in England.
