My Own Written Poetry :)

Christmas! II

Standing beneath ice and snow,

My feet freeze slowly.

As snowballs break around my surroundings,

This is as fun as it could be.

Christmas songs blast out,

Whilst they are playing on the radio.

They are all slow songs,

But no one really cares though.

Gifts lie underneath the tree,

Waiting to be delivered.

To the family and friends,

Who are stuck in the blizzard!

Lights are shining everywhere,

Around the house today.

Everyone gathers around,

Altogether they say:

"Merry Christmas everyone,

And a happy new year!

I hope you enjoyed today,

And spread Christmas cheer!"

This festive time is never forgotten,

For the sake of the Lord.

Singing and strumming a guitar,

Enjoying the sound of every chord.

Today is Christmas day,

I hope you have a good one!

Celebrate your day wisely,

And have lots of fun!
