My Own Written Poetry :)

Love Is Everything

Lord knows I failed you time and again,

But you and me are alright.

Break through from the other side,

And lead me to paradise.

Every time I close my eyes, we disappear,

When everything's wrong, you make it right.

They say before you start a war,

you better know what you're fighting for.

You are all that I adore.

We'll always be together don't you worry,

Find me in the sky dancing with the moon and night.

If I had everything, it wouldn't mean a thing,

Because nothing feels like you.

If we only die once, I wanna die with you.

If I lose myself tonight, it'll be by your side.

Take my hand and we will run away,

Down to this place that I know.

I feel so close to you right now, it's a forcefield.

Everything I do is all for loving you.

I swear it's you I've been waiting for.

It just won't stop.

You're my stereo soldier,

You keep on blowing my mind.

If we got nothing we got us,

But I'm a lucky soul, that holds your hand.

Sorry that all the lines after the other lines don't make sense, but you can clearly tell that the poem is about love :) I took 4 artists that I like (the ones included in this poem are OneRepublic, The Cab, Little Mix and Calvin Harris), typed in some of their songs then copied some of the lyrics and put them into a poem. I hope you like it :)
