My Own Written Poetry :)

Fear Is Not Darkness

Fear may be a feeling,

That scares you for a while.

But fear is never a weakness.

It can make you run for miles.

Fear may be black,

If it were ever a colour.

But fear will always be beaten,

If we help one another.

You could skydive or fly a plane,

That could be your fear.

Whatever it is, it could be dangerous,

But you will accomplish it, that is clear.

Who is fear?

Is it something that makes you scared?

If it is, then you can take it on,

But only if you dared.

Twenty thousand people,

Stand before my eyes.

They are staring up,

At the deep dark skies.

No they are not dark,

Fear is blocking their sight.

They all shout at me "what should we do?"

I say "Whatever all your fears are,

They are only afraid of you.

They are scared of what you will do to them,

But you seem to think,

That they will beat you down,

Just know that you will never sink.

They won't pull you under forever,

You will beat them someday.

They will always be scared of you,

So don't be afraid to say.

'I will defeat you my fear,

You will no longer take,

Over my life no more.

I will be stronger for my sake.'"
