My Own Written Poetry :)

Do You Know Me?

Take pride in me,

And I will listen,

Take interest in me,

And I will talk.

If you take no pride,

I will not listen,

If you take no interest,

I will not talk.

If you care for me,

You will stand by me,

If you can read me,

I will stand by you.

Do not let negativity,

Trap inside my soul,

Otherwise I will leave you,

Standing in the cold.

If you betray me,

I will leave you a storm,

But if you love me for myself,

I will leave you the warmth.

Of the sun shining above,

The moon will shine at night,

I will be standing, waiting,

Underneath the bright light.

Cautious levels of fight,

Come between us often,

But we learn to battle,

Because we want to soften.

Turn down the walls,

So I can meet you,

On the other side of it,

I don't know what to do.

I don't want to leave,

Without you near,

So break the glass,

So that I can hear.

Your voice through my ears,

So I can feel your hand,

I will dance happily with yourself,

Skip across this land.

Stand underneath this tree,

I will grant you with my affection,

No we are not in love,

But we have a reflection.

A reflection of friendship,

That will last forever,

I hope it won't stop,

Stop it won't, never.
