Windle has been placed in charge of firing two of the Kaiser's finest artillery pieces, the 31 inch caliber railway gun Schwerer Gustav, and the 24 inch caliber railway gun Thor.

They scramble and begin to shift the elevation of the barrel 5 degrees upwards.
Crew member: READY!
Mark Wayne Windle: **looking through binoculars** HOLD......HOLD......FIRE!!!!!!
Windle-chan: FIRE!!!!!!!
They all cover their ears and throw themselves down onto the ground or floor.
**VERY VERY LARGE AND VERY VERY LOUD GUN SHOT**

Mark Wayne Windle: **uncovers his ears** DIRECT HIT BOYS! LOS LOS LOS!
The crew begin to load the next shell.
Windle-chan now commands the 24 inch caliber Thor railway gun.
Windle-chan: **looking through binoculars** TARGET Z FORTRESS! ON Z CLIFF! RANGE IS ROUGHLY ABOUT 59-60 KILOMETERS AWAY! ADJUST Z ELEVATION TO 70 DEGREES!
Crew: JAWOHL!
Crew member 17: LOS LOS LOS!
They finish checking the gun and then adjust the elevation. When it is adjusted, the order is given to fire.
Crew member 21: SHE IS READY TO FIRE SIR!
Windle-chan:....FIRE! **covers his ears**
They all throw themselves onto the ground and cover their ears.
**VERY LARGE AND VERY LOUD GUN SHOT**
**VERY LARGE AND VERY LOUD GUN SHOT ECHOING**
**VERY LARGE AND VERY LOUD EXPLOSION**
Windle-chan: **uncovers his ears and looks through the binoculars**
He sees the impact of the shell. He watches as the smoke clears to reveal that the fortress that once stood atop the cliff, was now no more.
Windle-chan: THAT FORTRESS IS NO MORE! IT'S FALLING DOWN THE CLIFF!
He watches as it falls.
Windle-chan: HAHA! WE JUST COMPLETELY DESTROYED A FORTRESS WITH A SINGLE SHELL BOYS! THE KAISER WILL BE PROUD!
Crew: JAWOHL! HAHA!
After the three days of shelling, the enemy lines and fortifications were no more. The Schwerer Gustav fired 42 shells during the bombardment, Thor fired over 400 shells. It fired 432 shells during the bombardment.
Sometime later
Mark Wayne Windle: I am proud of mein son.
Windle-chan: Thank you father. But this is just the beginning of my career.
Mark Wayne Windle: Right you are my boy. Go say hi to Zeppy, I know zat she is worried about you.
Windle-chan: Agreed father. I will see you in a about ten minutes.
Mark Wayne Windle: Take as long as you need my boy, you've earned it.
Windle-chan: Danke father.
Windle-chan goes to Graf Zeppelin's place and sees her outside.
Windle-chan: **whispering to Graf Zeppelin** Hi.
Graf Zeppelin: Hmm? OH, w-when did you get here?
Windle-chan: **whispering to Graf Zeppelin** Just now. Where is Zeppy? I though zat I should surprise her with a visit after I came back from z front lines.
Graf Zeppelin: Good idea. She is inside. She is very worried about you.
Windle-chan: **whispering to Graf Zeppelin** Thank you.
He sneaks into the house goes to the backyard where he sees Zeppy, crying a little, but holding back her tears the best she can.
Zeppy: **sniffs** I-I hope he returns soon....I miss him.....**blows her nose into a tissue and then uses hand sanitizer**
Windle-chan: **standing behind Zeppy** Miss who?
Zeppy: **sniffs** Windle-chan.....huh? **looks behind her and gasps** WINDLE-CHAN!
She hugs him tightly.
Zeppy: I missed you!
Windle-chan: **returns the hug** I missed you as well Zeppy.
They hug each other for a few minutes. They sit down, and then, Zeppy does the unexpected and catches Windle-chan completely off guard.
Zeppy: **kisses Windle-chan**
Windle-chan: HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!! **blushes as hard as possible**
Meanwhile
Graf Zeppelin: **sheds a tear** She is going up so fast, I am so proud of you Zeppy.
Meanwhile
After a minute, Zeppy breaks the kiss.
Zeppy: **blushing as hard as possible** I....I....l-cut off
Windle-chan kisses her again. After ten seconds, he breaks the kiss.
Windle-chan: **blushing as hard as possible and smiles** I love you too Zeppy.
Zeppy: **blushing as hard as possible** Thank you Windle-chan!
They hug each other.
Meanwhile
Forest: **sniffs** They grow up so fast! **happily crying** I am so proud of my nephew!
