After that awfully dramatic scene with my secretary. We decided to leave the room and eat lunch since it's already past time.
I flinched when a loud thud on the floor caused by my secretary caught my attention.
"Aray! Pambihira ka talaga Ryuuk! Lagi nalang akong nagugulat pag nadadaanan kita!"
Inilihis ko ang tingin mula sakanya papunta kay Ryuuk.
"Why are you blaming the innocent figure with your stupidity?"
I mumbled as I wiped some dust off from his wings.
"Grabe naman kasi ang naglagay niyan diyan, sa dinami-rami sa hagdan pa talaga!" He exclaimed. I grimaced as I kicked his feet to make him stand up.
"Ako ang naglagay niyan dyan, moron. Get up, gutom na ako!"
Pagkatapos siyang bigyan ng masamang tingin ay nauna na akong bumaba ng hagdan para salubungin si Nanay Cresia na may awkward na ngiti.
"Nay?"
"May mga bisita ka, anak."
Tinuro na ang hamba ng pintuan, gayon na lang ang aking gulat nang makita kung sino ang tinutukoy niyang mga bisita ko.
"Oh. What a surprise." I exclaimed in full sarcasm.
"We heard about the success of the wildcard," he paused, "... And, this calls for a celebration, right?" Dagdag naman ng katabi nitong halos hindi matanggal ang braso sa beywang ng lalakeng may nakakalokong ngiti.
"Why are they here, Gel?" It was Angelina who shrugged with an awkward face.
"They're persistent." I grunted as I rolled my eyes.
"Oi, Maureen have you forgotten about how you owe me a drink after saving you from that ass Javier?" Upon mentioning that damn surname, my head boiled in anger.
"One word from you Hiroki and you'll see yourself out of my house." I warned him but he just grinned and slammed himself on the sofa.
I eyed Genji but he just shrugged and sat beside Hiro. Si Angelina naman ay naupo lamang sa kabilang sofa.
"Boss ---" I sighed saka tinapik si Nanay Cresia sa balikat.
"Please prepare some appetizers for us, nanay. Thanks." Tumango naman si Nanay at tumungo na sa kusina.
"Sino sila, Boss?" He whispered.
"That scoundrel is Hiroki, beside him is Genji and I suppose kilala mo na si Angelina, right?" Tumango ito.
I took a deep breath as I walked towards the three and slammed myself on the long sofa, tumabi naman sa akin ang secretary ko.
"Who're you?" Tanong ni Hiroki sa katabi ko.
Hinayaan ko na lamang siyang ipakilala ang sarili niya.
"I'm Romeo Seiji Andres, sir. I'm Miss Maureen's secretary." He gently bowed as a sign of respect.
"Oh, nice to meet you." Bati rito ni Genji. Hiroki just waved his hand.
Sa akin naman nabaling ang paningin nila.
"Don't tell me you're about to sulk around this house instead of celebrating with your folks..." I shrugged.
"I'm really not in the mood."
Hiroki deadpanned.
"So not you."
"Yeah," segunda ni Angelina, "Anyway, we bought beers and chicken.. your favorite." I grimaced at her.
