"I knew your name. Everyone does. Haven't you heard the rumours that people are spreading about you and your little friends? Maybe you should pay more attention to what's around you" She looked at me in shock as her eyes widened a little bit at my choice of words but it was soon replaced by the same big smile.

"Hey would you like to be friends? I bet you and Levi would get on great!" I quickly slammed my horses stable door open scaring Isabel in the process. I brought out a very different but unique horse.

I pulled her out by her ice reins and Isabel gasped at the sight in front of her. Her smile widened even more as she took in Winters beauty. I hopped into her which was easy since she's not a tall horse. Considering I was the shortest one in the survey corps it was hard for me to find a horse that I could get on.

"Also cadet I will never be friends with anyone. Now if you don't mind I'm going for a ride. If you want to join me you can but you better hurry your ass up" she nodded frantically and grabbed her horse she jumped on him and rode next to me.

We had been riding for about an hour and so had got to know Isabel a little bit better. She was an interesting girl. She told me about how she found a bird in the underground and how it was injured. It seems like she has a soft spot for animals.

We passed a few cadets whilst riding around they said hi but also pulled faces at me and Isabel.

"Hello second commander (F/N)! May I ask why your riding with a rat from the underground ma'am?" A boy said to me. I stopped my horse rather harshly and started at him. I looked at Isabel and she hung her head low not saying anything.

"Who the hell are you?" I questioned he smiled and saluted me. I glared down at him anger in my (E/C) eyes. I signalled for Winter to help me get done off of her. She bowed down low enough so that I could hop off.

"My name is Owen Hunt ma'am!" He smiled at me his eyes shining with glee. I scoffed at his attitude and walked towards him. I grabbed him by his collar and dragged him close to my face. Fear suddenly flashed through his eyes.

"Well cadet Hunt if I hear you calll any of the new recruits underground rats I'll personally feed you to the titans myself. Do I make myself clear?" He didn't answer a bead of sweat dripped from his forehead. I punched him in the jaw and he landed on the ground with a loud thud.

"Do I make myself clear!" I shouted venom laced throughout my voice as I spoke to the boy. He was shaking in fear at this point.

"Y-yes" he said shakily.

"Get out of my sight." He nodded and scrambled away holding the place I just punched him. I went back to Winter and got on her.

"You okay Isabel?" I looked at her with concern in my eyes. I wouldn't show it in my face but I'm pretty easy to read if you get to know me.

"Yeah I'm fine miss-" I interrupted her before she could say anything else.

"(F/N)" she looked at me in shock after whats I just said.

"Pardon?" She questioned her eyes wide in confusion.

"Call me (F/N) it doesn't have to be when we're alone too. Call me it whenever you want. Just not in front of the commander" She nodded and had a smile on her face.

"Okay! Thank you for sticking up for me (F/N) but can I ask why? Why would you stick up for someone like me?" My lips curled up into a barely visible smile. I looked up at the sky and saw the clouds.

"I just think you shouldn't judge someone because of how they look it where they came from" She nodded in understanding and asked if we should keep going.

After a while we made it to the training area where the cadets were still training. I spotted Flagon with a hand in his head looking at Levi.

"Oh no has Levi-bro done something wrong to upset the squad leader again?" She noticed what was happening too. I shrugged my shoulders and made Winter walk towards them.

Suddenly Flagon was about to punch him.
