Anika was late to the mehndi function the next day. Tia started complaining as soon as she came in, "Anika the mehndi is not having quality at all!"
"But Tia this is the finest quality that you get in India!" Anika spoke to which she flaunted her palms, "This is quality for you?!"

The color of the design didn't turn out very well. Anika felt it was genuine for Tia to be upset.

"I'm extremely sorry for this, Tia. Let me check with that company!" Anika apologized when Tia left away in anger not wanting to listen to her anymore.

"The quality is fine. You need not worry Anika!" Dadi spoke as she approached her.
In response, she asked "Then why didn't the color come out well Dadi?!"
"Maybe that's destiny indicating that Billu is not meant..." Anika interrupted her, "Tia is Shivaay's bride Dadi."
"Let's see." Patting her cheeks, Dadi left smiling.

"Hey Anu! Let me test this mehndi on your palm. Tia was crying about her mehndi color." Sid came up to her and she simply nodded picking up a call she received. The call distracted her not making her realize what Sid wrote in her palm.

Sid was definitely up to something, wasn't he?! ;)

Running to her girl gang, Anika said "Guys I'm sorry if the mehndi didn't turn out well."
"Amazing color Ani!" Mallika squealed in happiness showing her palm.
"Oh yeah!" Anika exclaimed in surprise as she noticed the design turning dark red on her friend's palm.

Looking at her palm to casually check out, she realized Shivaay's name on it. She was shocked, she left to deal with Sid who was busy meddling with his phone.

"Excuse me Sid." She patted his shoulder from behind and he asked warily, "Hey Anu, how did my testing turn out?!"
"Like seriously Sid! Do you think my palm is a rough paper for testing purposes?!" She asked out loudly, continuing "Why did you..."
"I was testing this for Tia. That's why!" Sid interrupted trying to sound innocent.
"Don't act smart!" Anika said sighing, "This is not the reality Sid."
"You can change it Anu." Sid spoke out of disappointment and left.

The final pre-wedding step, haldi ceremony started that evening. The gang enjoyed the fact that they didn't have to see Tia that evening. While the rituals were taking place, Anika settled in the couch looking at her palm with his name colored in brick red. She was completely lost thinking about what Dadi and Sid said that morning when she was disturbed by Rudra.

"Come Anu! What are you doing here?  Let's play haldi holi!" Rudra sounded excited.
"I have so much work Rudy, you guys carry on!" Anika said smiling to which he said, "I know work is too bad but you can enjoy life at times."
The next minute she was completely drenched, her gang splashed water on her.
"This is my right. I can only splash water!" shouting, she started chasing the rest.

No one really saw Anika after that evening, it was like she disappeared into thin air.
Shivaay asked again "Where is Anika?!"
"Relax Shivaay! This is the hundredth time you are asking since the past two hours." Mallika groaned.
"She would have left! It must be tiring, she is your wedding planner, best friend. How many roles will she play all alone!" Rudra stated.
"To be frank, Shivaay is sounding just like Anika on the last day of our college!" Gauri chuckled to which the rest agreed.

Everyone headed back to their rooms. Shivaay wasn't really feeling good, he tried calling her again when he heard a ringtone in his room's direction. Finding Anika's phone in his room, "Anika? Are you still here?!" He called out feeling her presence but didn't get back any response.

He stepped to the pool side to find Anika staring at the waters.

"Anika!" He sighed a breath of relief, "Where were you all this while?!"
She got up and was about to leave when he caught hold of her hand, "Is something wrong?!"
The next moment she locked her eyes with his, and didn't speak a word. He asked her again sounding impatient this time to which she smiled saying, "For two minutes, you couldn't bear my silence. For five years, I did."

"Don't worry. You needn't say anything now, I got to know what I need to from Mr.Chopra!" She finished, completely shocking him. Looking at her pale face, he was hurt.
"Anika I never meant to hurt you! I was about to meet you that day, express what I felt for you but the phone call I got that day changed my life!" Shivaay said, continuing...

"What!" Shivaay almost hollered, "I'm coming right away!" saying he left to the place where he got call from.

Reaching the Kapoor industries, he saw Mr.Chopra waiting for him.
"Mr.Chopra?!" Shivaay called out to him much confused when he heard, "I wanted to talk to you Shivaay."
"I received a call about Mr.Anand, one of this company's employees and my friend's father." Shivaay bluntly stated to which Mr.Chopra said casually "Yes yes I know! Anika is her name right?! I better say your girlfriend!"

"How do you know?!" He asked not liking the way the conversation was going.
"I know everything Shivaay! Coming directly to the point, my daughter loves you. She has asked me to get her married to you and that is why I called you here." He said surprising Shivaay.
"Then you must even know my answer and what Anika means to me!" He spat rudely.

"Cool down my boy! I know but at the same time, you must also know what Tia means to me." He said placing his palms on the table, and continued "You just need to do one thing for your Anika's happiness. Marry my daughter. Very simple right?"
"If I don't!?" Shivaay clenched his fist when he heard, "Nothing much. Anand Mehra will die out of shame, Anika will never be happy!"
"What the hell do you mean!?" Shivaay shouted in anger.

"I mean Anand will be exposed for the fraud he did in this company, Anika's only family will die and she would never remain happy in her life. I can do a lot more. This is just one sample!"  Mr.Chopra said and Shivaay held his collar.
"You can't do anything!" He roared to which Mr.Chopra smirked, "Don't underestimate me, Shivaay. Even if people don't believe what I say, these proofs are enough to make everyone believe Anand was a wrong man!"
