Chapter 18~Love in Bloom

~Pearl's PoV~

  A week after we arrived back on the mainland from Angel Island; I discovered a trail with at least twenty loop-de-loops! I start running, a snow-white streak forming behind me. Around evening, a blue streak joins me.

   So; you found my favorite place to run as well?" Sonic said, matching my pace. I instantly blush and stayed in perfect sync with him throughout the last loop. We slow to a stop.

   "Wooohoo!" The cobalt-blue prince exclaimed, jumping up and punching the air. "That was the best! Anyways, follow me, I wanna tell ya something." Curious, I follow him to a moonlit clearing filled with twinkling fireflies and wisps. I see him scrolling through his communicator.

   "I asked my sibs to help me record this yesterday." He said, pressing a button on his communicator. A minute later, an energetic and catchy beat began to play. I couldn't help myself and, with my mood eye a bright pink, began dancing with the prince. Soon, Ambrosia's angelic voice could be heard.
