"Yeah. Then you can show him his baby pictures and all those happy memories will make him good again." We started laughing.

"Do you really think that would work?" Aang asked.

"No!" Zuko said.

Aang sighed and looked down. "This goes against everything I learned from the monks. I can't just go around wiping out people I don't like..."

"Sure, you can. You're the Avatar. If it's in the name of keeping balance, I'm pretty sure the Universe will forgive you."

"This isn't a joke, Sokka! None of you understands the position I'm in!" Aang burst out.

"Aang, we do understand. It's just-"

"Just what, Katara?! What?" Aang interrupted her.

Katara looked annoyed. "We're trying to help."

"Then when you," he pointed a finger at her, "figure out a way for me to beat the Fire Lord without taking his life, I love to hear it!" He turned and began walking away.

"Aang, don't walk away from this," she said following him.

"Let him go. He needs time to sort it out by himself," Zuko said.

The next morning we began packing up. "Okay, that's everything," Sokka said.

"No, it's not." We all looked over at Toph. "Where's Aang?" We ran off looking for him.

"Aang? Aang!"

"Come on lazy bones, let's go," Toph said.

We continued looking around the building. There was nothing here except for his staff. "He left his staff. That's so strange," Sokka said, holding it.

"Aang's not in the house. Let's check the beach," Zuko said. We walked away heading towards the beach.

"Look! There's his footprints." Sokka pointed to a path of footprints that ended at the sea. "The trail ends here."

"So... He went for a midnight swim and never came back?" Suki asked.

"Maybe he was captured," Katara suggested.

"I bet he ran away again," Toph said.

"Ah-uh. He left behind his glider and Appa," Sokka said.

"Then what do you think happened to him oh sleuthy one?" Toph asked him.

"It's pretty obvious. Aang mysteriously disappears before an important battle? He's definitely on a Spirit World journey."

"But if he was, wouldn't his body still be here?" Zuko said.

"Maybe he's on a non-spirit world journey?" I suggested.

"He's gotta be somewhere on Ember Island. Let's split up and look for him," Katara said.

Toph grabbed Zuko's arm making him blush. "I'm going with Zuko!" We all looked at her. "What? Everyone else went on a life changing field trip with Zuko. Now it's my turn."

"I'll just go with Sokka I guess," I said, as everyone else split up. Sokka and I went up above the island using Appa. We couldn't find anything so we landed back at the house.

"Judging by the looks on your faces, I'm guessing you guys didn't find Aang either," Sokka said. We got off seeing them all sitting on the steps.

"No. It's like he just... disappeared," Zuko said.

"Hey, wait a minute, has anyone noticed that Momo's missing too?" Toph said.

"Oh no! I knew it was only a matter of time. Appa ate Momo!" I raised an eyebrow watching him open Appa's mouth. "Momo, I'm coming for ya, buddy!" He climbed onto Appa's tongue.

"Sokka, Appa didn't eat Momo. He's probably with Aang," Katara said.

"That's just what Appa wants you to think." He climbed in further and Appa closed his mouth.

"Did he eat anything while you two were looking for him?" Katara asked me.

"No, this is regular Sokka," I told her.

"Get out of the bison's mouth, Sokka. We have a real problem here. Aang is nowhere to be found and the comet is only 2 days away."

"What should we do Zuko?" Katara asked. We all looked over at him. Sokka fell out of Appa's mouth.

"I don't know. Why are you all looking at me?"

"Well, you are kind of the expert on tracking Aang," Katara said.

"Yeah, if anyone's got experience hunting the Avatar, it's you," Toph said. Zuko thought to himself. He nodded and got on Appa. We all followed him.

"Zuko, I don't want to tell you how to do your job but why are we heading towards the Earth Kingdom? There's no way Aang's there," Sokka said.

Zuko looked back at him. "Just trust me."

We landed next to a building in the middle of a forest. "And the reason you brought us to a seedy Earth Kingdom tavern is what now?" Katara asked. We walked inside.

"June," Zuko said, pointing at said lady. She was sipping tea at a table while fighting people.

"Oh yeah that weird bounty hunter with the giant mole," Sokka said.

"Mole? Her skin is flawless," Suki said.

"No, she has this giant mole creature she rides around on."

"Oh a shirshu?" I asked.

"Her shirshu is the only animal that can track Aang's scent anywhere in the World. It's the one shot we have of finding him."

June continued fighting this one guy. She tossed her tea up into the air and grabbed the guy, throwing him over her shoulder and onto a table. She grabbed the tea cup, all the contents landing perfectly back inside.

"I don't know who this June lady is but I like her." Toph grinned crossing her arms.
