Hey guys, if you're reading this for the first time, congrats! You've finished the story!

If this isn't your first time reading this and you're wondering why I'm republishing this part, it's because I wanted yall to actually have an in-depth update, so here goes

First of all, thank you for reading, I enjoy all of your comments throughout the story and I'm glad people are enjoying it enough to read it multiple times (there's even an acronym for first time readers now! it's crazy), I genuinely wouldn't be able to imagine this much support and interaction 3 years ago when I published it for the very first time

However, as much as I enjoyed this book, it had it's problems, and as every person does, I grew and recognized those problems, and so if you're unaware, I've been working on rewriting She

Now for the update on that

The rewrite: It's about halfway done, I'm currently on the third draft (rewriting the entire first draft), but it's still going to take a while, I'm busy and I don't have as much physical freedom (literally physical; desktop instead of chromebook) in terms of writing, and I'm fairly busy with work and college, but it's constantly being worked on, I just want to make sure it's good and that some of the previous points made about She were being addressed, such as the timeline of the reader confessing her feelings, yeah, that's a little wack, but also I want it to be a (metaphorically) solid book, writing it the first time around I didn't put enough work into editing it and having more drafts, and there were some weird parts and plotholes (eg. the reader suddenly being able to swim), and lately I've been considering a more fitting title but that's not a guaranteed change, however, the truth is I won't have a timeline for the publishing, my hope is to get it done before 2024, and I'd love to have it finished before the end of june but if I want it to be a good book I can't make a promise like that

The sequel:
If you didn't know, I had been working on a sequel for the og book and I had actually finished the entire thing (minus actually working on drafts), however with the rewrite, I didn't like the sequel as much and decided not to go through with it, but the rewrite will have a sequel too! so worry not, and it'll keep the same title after the wonderful news of the artist reclaiming their work, and since yall waited for so long for well... nothing, sorry, here's a complete rundown of the trashed sequel

The reader wakes up about 19 years old after being kept in stasis by the dragons after almost dying about 60 or so years prior, this took place during tlok, the reader got her bending back in cool sequence of fighting some of those anti bender guys and getting shocked and it was super cool, only part I missed in some of the other iterations, in some of them she also couldn't remember anything, after some more drama and almost dying with korra in season 3 and some bonding, and guarding Wu, she'd eventually see Toph again and that's where the lyrics from the song the title is inspired by (please don't hold me I wouldn't know how to let go) came into play and she'd try to forget Toph and move on with her life but eventually couldn't and would try and find a way back to her through the spirit world and she'd succeed and bam
story ends so the whole thing was kind of redundant, and had no purpose so I trashed the idea

but, that's all you get, I won't be spoiling the rewrite or anything in the new sequel, but feel free to guess away! I loved seeing yalls theories and I love interacting with you guys, and rest assured I will keep you guys in the loop via announcements on my account and an actual update once the rewrite is ready

Thanks for reading!
