"Come on," Jennie said.

You followed behind her into the festival.

It was just like the festival your high school used to have.

Rides were raving, lights were beaming, games were crowded with people desperate to win huge stuffed animals.

"What do you want to do first," you asked.

"I want to go there," Jennie said, pointing to the dunk tank.

You smiled before walking towards the huge contraption.

"It looks like no one has dunked him yet."

"It doesn't. I don't like how smug about it he looks," Jennie said.

"You suck at throwing, Jennie."

"How do you now? I am a pro at throwing a ball actually!"

"Dunk him then."

"That sounds like a challenge, y/n."

"If you can successfully make him fall off of that platform within your first 3 tries, then I will buy you...a deep-fried snicker bar that's pancake battered."

"You know I love those!"

"I do. So, if you dunk him...then I will buy you one."

"Wait...don't you get free food?"

"That's beside the point."

"Okay then. The bet is on."

"Hi, Ms. Kim! Would you like to go ahead of me," one of her students said.

"Oh no, Samuel! I will wait at the back of the line."

"It's no trouble! Plus, all of us kind of really want to see you dunk your boyfriend."

'Was that last word really necessary, Samuel?'

"Um...okay!"

Jennie turned to you and winked before grabbing a ball from Samuel.

"If you are going to play can you go ahead and throw? Other people want to play," Kai said.

"What was that," Jennie asked.

"I said that i-"

Jennie threw the ball as he spoke. It was a perfect hit on the target. Kai went flying into the cold water.

"Now, you did say the first three...right,  y/n?"

"I did."

"How about you live up to the offer."

"Gladly, but I really want to do something first."

"What is that?"

You turned to look at Kai as he was getting settled back on the plank.

"Hey, Kai!"

"What, y/n?"

You walked over the tank and hit the target sending him flying back into the water.

"Now, we can go get you your dessert."

Jennie latched onto your arm before leading you to the food section of the festival.

"It feels so good out tonight."

"It does. It reminds me of the harvest festivals we had in high school."

"I miss those," Jennie admitted.

"They were really fun."

"There it is," she said, dragging you to the food truck. "Can I get one deep-fried snicker bar, please?"
