Rejection hurts
Whether they meant it or not
The pain will stay
Through all your days
It hurts you
It changes you
You build up the hatred
As it brings more anger
As day turns to night
You tuck it all away
But as you rest
it slides back in
It haunts your dreams
And your every thought
You feel like a shell
Of your previous self
You feel Broken
