What is trust?
Do we give it freely?
Do we trust everyone?
Do we trust anyone?
Trust is a good things
If placed in the right hands
Don't misplace your trust
Or misjudge other's trust
It'll only hurt more later
When you wake up
And everything was a lie
Covered by past truths
She misplaced her trust
Gave it to the wrong person
There's one that rightfully
Should get it
They earned her trust
More than anyone
They gave her all their trust
And will get hers in return
She hates how much she hurt them
Because of how hard
It is for her to trust
For the very reason
That it hurts so much
When they don't trust you
As much as you do them
She did the same thing
To the one person
That gave her their trust
They never held anything back
But she stayed so silent
She listened with all her heart
As they told her everything
She never deserved anything
And yet they gave it all
She doesn't know why their trust
Was given to her
But she will no longer
Take advantage of it
She wouldn't blame them
For no longer trusting her.
