Close Calls

When I was three

I fell off a balcony

None of my bones broke

A great relief for my folk

It was a miracle

I didn't need a hospital

Just a caring mother

Along with another

My loving father

He's a great helper

I don't remember

if it happened in September

Or some other time

but now I'm fine

I've had my close calls

I've made it through them all

I am so lucky

To have my family

Ps. This was written a very long time ago. I would have rewritten it, but it is so bad I don't even know how to do that. So, I guess you get the rough original version...

I hope it isn't as bad as I think....
