I walked around town, fighting the urge to close my eyes and sleep. Wandering around, I looked for anyone familiar to talk to whenever I remembered that we had a match today. I panicked, adrenaline entering my body and waking me up fast.

Bolting towards the arena, I wove my way through the entrance and through the people, making it to the seating area whenever the first match started. I looked inside the water bubble, seeing Juvia and Lucy in the bubble. Hell yeah, Juvia's in her element. I smiled, and I glanced over at the Sabers side of the arena.

Sting was staring back at me, and we both had a mini staring contest before he blinked, and I glanced towards the water bubble

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. What'd I miss?" I asked, turning my head to look at Levy.

"Well, the other competitors got knocked out pretty quickly, but Fairy Tail team A and B seem to be doing fine..." There was a disappointed groan. "Or not."

I glanced up, seeing Juvia on the ground below the bubble. "How? She was in her element." She was winded, probably from hitting the ground to hard. I glanced up at the score board. "At least team B got third place." I muttered under my breath.

I looked back up, watching Lucy get her ass handed to her by Minerva. My anger grew with every blow, and my nightmare from the night before was forgotten. My lower lip was bleeding by the time the match was over.

Overhearing the Master, I put together that the two Fairy Tail teams had to disband, rejoining with five new participants. I stuck my tongue out, making a face a child would when it wasn't getting enough attention.

The next battle started, my brother and Gajeel hopping down to the arena. Sting and Rouge hopped down as well, joining in on the fight. They were throwing punches, not really having much oomph behind their attacks.

"Come on you sack of butt-wipes! Start fighting for real!" I yelled down at them, but they didn't seem to register my words.

Eventually, they stopped fighting. My body was sore, but that probably was because of Sting and his recklessness. Sting activated his Light Dragon Force and Rouge did his shadowy Dragon Force, fighting for real.

Natsu and Gajeel looked destroyed, but they finally decided to do something with their lives and activated their Dragon Force. Natsu had lighting coming off of him, and Gajeel looked like a iron-clad demon. "About fucking time."

"You should watch your language, Mune~kun."

I jumped, looking over at Frosch next to me. "When did you get here?"

"I think you mean we." Lector appeared next to her, and I frowned.

"You both should be over at the Sabertooth side of the arena."

Lector pouted, sitting down. "I wanted to watch it with you."

"I guess you could do that." I grabbed them both carefully, setting them down on top of the wall in front of me. "Now you can really see the battle."

"Go Sting!" Lector shouted, putting his paws in the air.

I chuckled, looking down at the fight and feeling a blow on my cheekbone as Natsu punched Sting's cheek. Muttering old curses under my breath, I continued watching the fight. Gajeel said something stupid, and got into a verbal fight with Natsu.

My brother then proceeded to push his only partner into a mine cart, away  from the fight.

Now Natsu was fighting my mate and his friend by himself, like the fucking idiot he sometimes was. Some point after that, Rouge disappeared into his shadow and then Sting and Natsu were fighting one vs. one. Lector started to cry, and I calmed him down, petting his head.

"It's okay Lector. Everything will be fine."

Feeling some powerful magic underneath the arena, I guessed Gajeel was finally going all out. Soon enough, the crowd was exploding with sounds, and Fairy Tail was the winner.

Suddenly, my head exploded in pain, hurting something fierce. I looked over at Sting, who was getting off of the arena with the help of his guild mates, so him as the source of it was out.

(Although I would have loved to blame it on him, and have Natsu punch his brains out as revenge, that wasn't an option)

I rested my head against the cool rock in between Lector and Frosch. I looked up at them, sitting up and grabbing them both. "Come on, let's give you back to your owners." I said, exiting the Fairy Tail seating area and walking over to the Sabertooth area on the other side of the arena.

I bumped into Minerva, I apologized. "Oh my, I didn't mean to run into you."

"It's fine." She looked down at the two cats in my hands. "Why do you have Sting's and Rouge's cats?"

"First, their names are Lector and Frosch, get them right. And they came over to the Fairy Tail side because they wanted to see what it was like over there." I sighed. "I was just walking over to return them to their owners."

"Well, you can hand them to me. I'll return them." She extended her hands out.

"Really? Thanks." I handed the two cats over to Minerva, and she pulled them close.

"It's no problem, weird male."

I laughed, starting to walk away. "I get that a lot, so you're going to have to try harder next time if you want to say something mean." I waved, putting both hands behind my head and walking away towards Porlyusica.

"Yo, Porlyusica, I need your help with something." I chirped, opening the door to the healers' hut she set up.

"What do you want now?" She said, looking up from her book and glaring at me.

"Well, I've been having these dreams, and I've been hoping you could help me with them?"

"Fine." She sat me down, and I proceeded to tell her everything about the dream, minus the disturbing corpses part.

"Apparently, I was screaming in my sleep but wouldn't wake up when Natsu tried to shake me awake."

Fairy Tail's healer was silent for a moment, staring at me with those ever glaring eyes. "Did you see anybody else other than you in your dreams?" I was about to say no whenever a dark figure flashed across my vision.

I stumbled back, falling over my chair and onto my back. Porlyusica grabbed her broom, and I flinched as she raised it above her head. She noticed, and put the broom down to help me up. "Sorry..."

"I-it's fine." I calmed myself down, telling her about the figure that I always saw in my peripheral, but could never get a good look at. I tried to remember every detail, but I get some disturbing flashbacks and just locked them away in the Chest the Shall Never be Opened.

Standing up on shaky legs, another wave of pain went through my skull, making me stumble. "Do you have anything for migraines, possibly?" She nodded, walking over to a cabinet and handing me a pill.

I took it really quickly, saying my thanks and leaving the hut and getting teleported to where the Fairy Tail team was. "So, what's supposed to happen now?"

~Time skip~

I stared at Erza blankly, sticking my tongue out. "You just need to defeat your opponent."

"That's it?"

She nodded. "Separate and let's go!"

Waiting until everyone else had left the area, I glanced around and looked for the tallest building. It wasn't that hard to find.

Grabbing onto the wall and climbing upward, I settled myself down on the flat rooftop. Looking down, I spotted some familiar white-blond hair.

Sting walked in the alley between the two buildings as I watched from above. My stomach churned at the fact that I had to fight him, but I grit my teeth and jumped down from the roof.

I landed behind him, and he whipped around to face me. My face hardened at the eye contact.

"She took him. I'm so sorry." His arm rose into the air, and I narrowly dodged a line of white light.
