I'm back bitches!
Mune's POV
As I was walking away from the train station, I caught a glimpse of familiar pink hair. My heart jumped and constricted, making me stop to catch my breath. I got myself together, and ran after the pink haired person and the group he was with.
They ran into the guild hall and I started crying as I walked in, the guild as normal as it was seven years ago. I collapsed onto my knees, sobbing as Natsu turned around to look at me. He ran to me and hugged me as we cried into each other's shoulders.
"Y-you promised to never l-leave me..." I sniffled, holding my brother close.
"I didn't. I would never have left you even if you wanted me to." Natsu said, having already calmed down. As much as I didn't want to break the hug, I had to. I missed Lucy so much!
"Lucy! I missed you! Do you have any idea how long you have been gone?" I scolded Lucy. She shrugged.
"I-i... It felt like a few seconds or a moment. " I stared at everyone in confusion. I gaped at them, and then something in my mind clicked.
"It has been seven years since your group vanished with the island." I said in shock. "I am now 24." I was silent as I tapped my finger against my chin. "My idea is that time stopped for you guys, but time continued here." Everyone stared at me in disbelief. "That must have been one hell of a spell."
Bisca sighed and said, "We have become the lowest guild in Magnolia since you guys left." I sighed with Bisca.
"There was a competition for the top spot in Fiore that rose up during the years that we- I mean you, guys were gone. I participated one year, but it wasn't enough to get to the top again." I coughed to hide the slip up, but it didn't go unnoticed. Natsu narrowed his eyes at me and gestured with his hand for me to follow him outside. I rolled my eyes, waving to the others who vanished before walking outside.
We walked outside the guild hall and went to the side of the building. I sighed as I followed him. He turned around and sat down. He didn't look at me as he said, "Don't think that I did not hear that slip-up." He looked at me. "Where were you these past seven years?"
I sighed and sat down in front of him. "I was traveling the world, training as I went along." I gestured to everything and nothing at the same time. "But," I said, pointing my finger at him. "I did not lie about the games though. I did go to those games. But I never did pay close notice to anyone else though. So stop giving me that protective look."
He just stuck out his tongue and smiled creepily. "And?" He glared at the wall behind me, and I paled.
"Natsu...?" I poked his arm. He snapped out of it and hopped up. I stood up too and went back inside the guild hall, with Natsu following suite. I opened the door and ducked as a wooden bottle went flying towards my head.
It was a disaster in there. Gray was fighting Natsu as soon as Natsu walked in. Elfman was being a idiot and joined in shouting 'I'm a man!'. He was knocked out of the fight as soon as he joined in. Soon tables were being thrown and glasses shattering. I sat down in my spot on the bar and grabbed my glass of water from Mira.
"So, how was the seven years without us?" Mira asked. She looked up at me.
"It was okay. Mune was struggling with the news at first, but he got over it." Snowflake lied smoothly. She glanced at the one pale spot and the moon-like imprint on the floor in front of the doorway. I winced, glancing away and taking a sip of my drink.
I smiled weakly at Mira. "I got a lot stronger in my adventures though. I have been to some other guilds but never joined. I just visited some old friends in some of them. Though I don't think I can beat you yet, Mira." I looked at her as I swirled cup, making the water swirl along with it.
Gajeel fell onto me sitting in my stool with a yell, and I kicked him where the sun don't shine, joining in on the fight. I had Natsu and Gray beat in seconds. I sighed. "At least give me something to put some effort into." I fixed up the guild hall using my levitation moon magic and separated the two troublemakers.
"Flame-brain."
"Ice princess!"
I glared at them both, activating my silencer magic I had learned along my 'tour' of Magnolia.
"Hey!" I heard Natsu shout before I activated 'Moon Barrier'. It would stop them from fighting each other. I knew even with the silencer, they would still fight. Master then hopped down from the railing upstairs and sat on the bar counter top. Mira just continued cleaning glasses.
"Somebody tell me about these 'Grand Magic Games', please." He asked, holding out a hand for a drink
I grabbed a mug full of beer, and handed it to him. "It basically a way to get back up to the top ranked guild." I explained. "The prize money is 300,000J, if I remember correctly." I smirked at his smile. "But it's going to be hard to get back up. The top spot has been held by a guild called Sabertooth." I wrinkled my nose, like I was smelling something bad. "They're crazy powerful."
Macao gasped. "We are not participating in those Games! We get our asses kicked every time!" He shouted at Master. Master just rolled his eyes, putting the drink down.
"Well we are. Masters' orders. Let's get those 300,0- I mean, let's get the top spot in Fiore back!" He shouted, jerking his hand into the sky.
"YEAH!" The guild shouted in unison. I smiled softly, finishing off my water. I was happy to be back home.
