39- Confrontation

I choke on my drink, nearly spitting it out, which leads to a coughing fit so bad, he has to get up and pat my back, all while laughing uncontrollably.

"What makes you think that?" I say once I am done, hoping my cheeks aren't as red as they feel

"Oh come on Ayanna! After that reaction??!!" He says as he laughs again pointing at my face. Having no response I take another sip of my drink

"I must say, your portraits of me are beautiful"

This time the coughing gets so bad that Hobi comes from the kitchen and pats my back too, Jungkook getting me a glass of water.

"Oh Ayanna I was just teasing but I wish I had this on tape!" Yoongi says as he wiped tears from his eyes

"What did you do now, hyung??" Jungkook

"Oh I- I confronted her about me being her bias and-" he starts laughing again, unable to continue

"Aish hyung! Why would you do that?" Jimin says with a laugh.

All of them seem to be holding in their laughter

"Yah! This isn't funny!!" I insist, wiping the tears from my eyes.

But before anybody can say anything, Hobi's phone rings and we scramble to hide in various spots around the entrance and behind furniture with confetti.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" we yell as Seokjin enters the house, who pretends to be surprised, claiming he knew something was up the entire time, his ears turning a bright shade of scarlet as he talked.

"She was coughing so hard all of you had to help her??" Jin says as he's laughing , Namjoon trying very hard to not laugh under my glare

"I wish I had got it on tape!" Yoongi says, banging the table with his fist. "What a wasted opportunity!"

We're all at the dining table, Jin constantly thanking us and complimenting the food.

Namjoon breaks and starts to giggle and I shove him slightly which stops him from laughing.

"Hyung! Why would you do that to her!?" He says as he dramatically pulls me closer, which makes me laugh

"I had to do it one day or the other-" he says with a shrug

"NO YOU DIDN'T" I say, trying to be serious but failing miserably

It oddly felt good that it was finally put out in the open. And that nobody seemed phased by it, not even Yoongi.
Maybe this wasn't so bad after all.

Jin cuts into the chocolate cake amidst cheers and everyone loves it

"So this is the famous chocolate cake? I get why Namjoon fell for you" Jin says between bites

I elbow Namjoon this time. "You don't have to tell them everything!"

He laughs it off as he assures me that he hasn't told them everything to which I just narrow my eyes at him, making everyone laugh harder.

When it comes to gifts, I give Jin a couple of outfits for RJ I sewed that match with outfits he has.

"Now the both of us can match! Ahh Ayanna these are perfect! Thank you!" He says as he pulls me in for a hug

"We're going to New York again this year, for new year's..." Namjoon says as I wrap up my day's work on my laptop
