After Zane's death, the ninja took it hard.
Kai the worst. He's lost the will to fight, to live.
Kai looked to Zane as a saver like Lloyd.
And now with Zane gone, Kai's fallen into darkness.
Can Kai be brought out of the deep depression that's got...
We make it where Chen and his goons can't get off the island. I hold Kai to me as we celebrate. Kai wraps his arms around me as dad walks up. "I'm proud of you six. You've done what the original Elemental masters never could: stick together. But you must not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep." Dad says.
Ray nods from stroking Wyvern on her muzzle. He might have raised Wyvern, but she choose Kai to be her new owner. Wyvern hisses and Kai translates. "She said she knows this place and all of Chen and Clouse hideouts." Kai says.
I open my wings, ears and tail uncurl as my eyes shift. I feel free as me and Kai take flight for the first time in months together. We check out the island, coming to a abandoned village.
I see Skylar, Kai sees Chen. We bank, breaking apart. Chen stops Skylar, Cole shoots at Chen and Clouse jumps on the Roto Jet.
Kai's p.o.v
I see father get out to deal with Clouse. "A bit of a breeze up here. I wonder which one of us will stay on their feet longer?"
"How about neither?" Father tackles Clouse, I dive as they fall. Wings tucked close, I grab father and slow our descent.
Clouse gets up as we land. "One of these days, your son's will have to stand on their own without their dear father." He growls. I charge as Father does. "Not today." Father yells.
We exchange blows, we were winning until Clouse opened a portal. I grab father and take to the air. The force of the suction keeps me from getting out of reach.
"Kai, throw me at hem." Father tells me. I do as he says, falling at the edge and my foot catches between two rocks. Father grabs Clouse "You fool! You're...you're pulling us both in!" Clouse calls out.
"No, just you." Father shoves Clouse in and the portal closes. "I've always hated magic." Father remarks, coming over to me. He helps me get unstuck and standing. I hiss in pain as I put weight on the foot.
Together we head back to the palace, Lloyd is there. He runs to the both of us, hugging us. "Love, your hurt." "Sprained ankle. I'll be fine." I reply.
"Skylar gave herself so I could excape." Lloyd explains. Me and father look at each other, than as one, groan in pain and fall over. Our tattoos glow, I clutch my back.
Lloyd is above us "Dad, Kai what's wrong?
I grint my teeth "I don't know."
Lloyd gets the look of fear "Your tattoos."
Father grunts in pain "Something inside of me. Something is happening." He says as I fall over, panting in pain. Fingers comb my hair as Lloyd holds one of our hands.
When it stops, I sit up and look at father. We're Anacondri. Sitting up and curling my tail, Lloyd cups my cheek. "Your still my handsome husband." He tells me.
Soon we're forced to retreat, Jay gets spooked by father. "Snake among us!" He readies his lightning, Lloyd stops hem.
"No, don't. It's father and Kai." I come up. Jay than goes into a rant. "First it was four arms, then you became a Dragon. Would you mind picking a body and sticking with it, please?" I smack Jay with my tail.
Soon it grows quiet, we clime the latter and find the cultists leaving. "Take care of the island, it's yours. We'll be taking Ninjago now!" Chen calls as Skylar comes.
Jay begons to pace, ranting. "This, this is just priceless. He took the Roto Jet and all of the Blade-Copters!"
Nya lowers her head. "What have we done?"
"We all have families in Ninjago." Griffin says.
Me and Lloyd look at each other. "Our triplets." I say, ears flattening on my scaled covered head. The masters look at us with sad looks.
"Argh! And we had to destroy any other way off the island! Who's idea was that?" Jay continues.
Cole turns to Lloyd. "Your father was right, Lloyd. We thought we had the upper hand. Our guard was down and look what happened." He says.
Jay keeps on. "Nobody listens to me! You all say I overreact, but no!" I smack hem once more.
Lloyd steps on the ledge "I'll go alone." "And take on his whole army?" I ask, taking his hand.
"Me and you are the only ones with elemental dragons and you can't access your element." I form a ball of water. His eyes light up.
"Not any more." Zane says as he flies over on his dragon.
Jay awws "Oh, Zane, none of us could do that before. You gotta tell us how you did that!" He said.
Zane lands on the pillar. "I faced my fear. When I realized it wasn't something in front of me that held me back, but something inside me, I found a deeper power. A Dragon power." He states.
I jump up, forming my good friend, Aquarius. Using gravity, I bring Wyvern on her. "Zane's right. We all have this power inside of us. But you have to see that it's not the Anacondrai we're afraid of, it's our doubt. Divided, we failed. But together, we will succeed." I throw a fist up as dad climes on.
The masters form their dragons, Wyvern wraps around my and dad. Father rides on Lloyd's dragon as Skylar is on Shades.
Father is heard as we set out for Ninjago. "The battle of our past has returned, but we will rise to meet that challenge."
Dad than calls out. "Chen brought us here so that only one would remain. Well, we are one!" Dad says and we all cheer.
(Don't you just love how Kai is in the middle of all the dragons.)
