17: Encounter With Death

Adi stared out a window and took a deep breath before saying "I'm so sorry for doing this to you Ava,it keeps contro-"

He then slapped himself

"Sorcerer Adi! Can I get you here at the table? He's here"

Adi turned around and saw the figure cloaked in black

"Ahh it was Death" (a.k.a the grim reaper) He thought to himself

He walked towards them walking past a cell

"So,how was your attempt in killing the Prince of Daemos Death?" ??? asked

"I would've succeeded if it wasn't for that Goddess Ava who was able to heal him after she took out my physical form,luckily I am still able to harm others but I would still require the both of your help but still...He was smart to have assigned someone like her to such a convenient location,on Earth,in that specific house especially" The grim reaper said annoyned

"He's always been the smart one,even since..." ??? shook their head trying to forget what they were about to say

"What does this all mean?" Adi asked looking at Death

"Her aura,I sense it. Goddess Ava is here,and on Daemos" He said

Adi's eyes widened and he took several steps backwards until he faced the cell containing their prisoner

Out of anger he slashed the sword at the prisoner's cheek that was at his back

"You look so much like her" Adi said looking at the prisoner angrily

The prisoner looked absolutely terrified,they took a step back and touched their cheek

They silently winced in pain and said quietly "It stings..."

Adi came out of his senses and mouthed the words "I'm sorry" to the prisoner before facing the others again

"I can't believe she's here,I'm positive He sent her" ??? said

"M'lord we shouldn't worry she's nothing against the three of us,we're basically unstoppable at this point" The grim reaper said with an evil smirk

The prisoner who tried to heal themself then stepped forward so that they could hear their conversation

"What are we going to do now that Goddess Ava is here?" Adi asked

"She won't be able to do anything Adi,she's banished from the kingdom of Daeisty and I know her weakness. She's not able to heal anyone if she's emotionally unstable so that means..." ??? looked at Adi

Adi smirked "If I remind her of our memories together I could weaken her and she will be all yours to take care off"

??? nodded with a smirk

"Hey now where's my fun?" The grim reaper asked

??? faced him "Don't worry Death you can take the souls of the Prince and his knights,and the royal families' as well as an added bonus for taking care of the daemos who will try and stop us for executing our plan"

"Perfect" He said

"When will we execute our plan your grace?" Adi asked ???

"Hmm...Let's prepare some spells,potions,and armor first,by I mean armor for us I meant armor for the two of you"

"Why is that?" Adi asked

"Silly Sorcerer I'm a God don't you remember? I'm immortal,I can only get injured,not die"

"But can't you lose your immortality?"
"I'm the God of Hell you idiot! I live forever,didn't you get me the first time?" ??? said obviously frustrated

"R-right my sincerest apologies Goddess Satina"

While the three continued to make plans the prisoner took a step back and looked outside the hole of cell and said very quietly

"Ava...Sister...I know this is you,please...If you can hear me...Save me...Please...Save....."

The prisoner passed out and fell on the hard concrete ground

~Meanwhile~

Ava and the five daemos were discussing plans until Ava's senses started to kick in

It felt like...A presence perhaps? "Was someone trying to contact me?" She thought to herself

Ava said while rubbing her forehead "Did you guys feel that?"

"Huh? Felt what Goddess Ava?" Asch asked while he and the others looked around them

"It felt as if someone needed my help...It felt like someone was in dire need...It's probably nothing,let's continue" She suggested shaking her head

They all nodded and continued with their discussion

~Timeskip~

"So what your saying is that Noi should be your guard while facing Sorcerer Adi? As much as I'd like to say that he has improved I want to suggest someone like Pierce to guard you" Rhys said

Noi feeling discouraged lowered his head

"As much as I'd also like Pierce's company I'm confident that Noi is able to take care of me,plus he's the one that has improved the most since the first day of his training with you guys and Pierce" She said while looking at Noi with a smile

Noi raised his head and looked at her with a small smile appearing

"I guess you do prove a point..." Rhys said

"How is the condition of the human breeding cell?" Ava asked facing Asch and Leif

"We have taken the humans in hostage and placed a barrier spell with the help of Lady Grandma of course" Asch said

"We couldn't have done it without her,though I can't believe she would have done somethting like that" Leif said

"Me and her are great friends,she agreed very quickly once she knew that I was the one that came up with the plan. She still makes a great queen even though she isn't one anymore"

"Indeed,speaking of royalties Goddess Ava will you ever consider telling your family your real identity?" Rhys asked

She looked at him "As I've mentioned before,I only came here to fix your magic crisis,restore the peace between the two kingdoms,and to fulfill my father's last wish. Please don't be persistent with this"

"I'm very sorry for asking Goddess Ava"

"It's alright Rhys you never harmed anyone" She looked at the moon "It seems that it has become night,let's all retire and continue our discussion tomorrow"

They all bowed and left the room leaving Ava who was just staring at the crescent moon

"Why did the presence feel so...Warm and welcoming? Is it perhaps? No it couldn't be...

Archer?"

Goddess Satina, The Grim Reaper and Sorcerer Adi all in one group? Looks like a recipe for disaster for me
