Chapter 10

Meanwhile you were being taken to a basement somewhere in New York. You were blindfolded so you had no idea where you were being taken to but you knew it was somewhere in New York. About twenty minutes later you were thrown into a warehouse and you took your blindfold off and looked at Doc Oct. "What am I actually doing here, because I know for a fact there's no way to alter genes Doc, even you must know that" you spoke as you got up and dusted yourself off, "I don't mean to harm you Y/N, after all you are my favorite out of all the Avengers, I just want to make sure you stay here forever! You will be my prisoner, and your little boyfriend Peter will suffer immensely making his Spider-Man act come to a halt" "Peter would never stop being Spider-Man, that's the thing he loves the most" "We'll see about that" he said as he locked you up in the warehouse. You ran to the door and pounded at it with your fists but nothing came of it. You turned around and saw that there was a bed with blankets and pillows and a toilet with a sink, you sighed as you made your way over to the bed and sat down. Today was supposed to be a good day, everything had gone so well earlier, but somehow it all came tumbling down. You missed your father, your uncles, everyone at the tower, but you missed Peter the most, you were worried for him.

It's been a week since Doc Oct took you, the Avengers haven't found you yet and you haven't figured a way out yet. You tried to get Nyx to locate where you were but there wasn't much signal where you were, making it impossible for her to track where you were. Everyday for the past week you were brought a breakfast, lunch and dinner, however you refused to eat anything, you only drank water. You were growing weak and felt dizzy all the time, you would throw up every once in a while you weren't sure why because you hadn't been eating anything for you to throw up. "Nyx" you spoke, "Can you do a full body scan of me please, I'm not feeling too well and I'm not sure what's going on" "Of course Y/N, taking a full body scan now...scan complete, please give me a few minutes to put the information together" "Thank you Nyx" you said as you waited for the results of the scan. You laid on the bed and hugged yourself holding on to Peter's sweater tightly inhaling the scent he left behind in the hoodie, being the only thing that you had that you could hold tight to you. Then you remembered the spider necklace Peter gave you and had a video of him and you and pictures.

You sat up on the bed and pressed on the spider popping out a holographic image of you and Peter's first picture ever followed by more pictures and videos that Peter had put, you started tearing up watching all the memories going through. "Y/N the results are done, would you like me to tell you them?" Nyx asked, "Yea, go ahead" you said as you continued watching the video, "It appears to be that the cause of your dizziness and vomiting is due to the fetus inside you being hungry and wanting some more solid nutrients" your eyes widened at what you just heard, "th-the fetus inside of me?" You asked, "yes, you are pregnant". You were speechless, you couldn't believe it, then you thought back to the time Peter and you made love and remembered that he wasn't wearing a condom, and you had just gotten off your birth control pill, it made sense that you became pregnant, "I'm pregnant" you whispered as you held your stomach and saw the video turn to a message that Peter had video recorded for you of himself, at this point tears were spilling down your face but you weren't sure if they were tears of happiness or sadness.

"Hey Y/N!" The video started "I just wanted to let you know that you have brought back the happiness in my life. You are the reason why I push myself harder and harder everyday to become a better version of myself because you motivate me to do my best. You have always been there for me, even when we were just children in elementary school. You bring me so much happiness, the way you do your hair, the way you selflessly help people, I've never met someone like you, and that's because there's no one quite like you. You are so unique, the way your eyes crinkle on the sides when you've laughed too hard, unique, the way you wear my clothes, unique, every single inch of you is unique, there is no single flaw in you baby girl, not one. I can't wait to marry you someday, and have children with you and grow old together. I-I've never felt like an ordinary person, ever since the spider bite, but when I'm with you, I know that I don't need to be ordinary to be happy, you make me see so many things that I've never seen and I'm so grateful for that...I'm so grateful for you...I love you Y/N" and with that the video came to an end.
