It wasn't the same of course, but the same feeling was there. Some people I used to talk to have rightfully moved on, others have stayed, and I also met a lot of new faces. I don't regret coming back. I'm overcome with joy that I was able to finish this book.
Thank you guys so much, you have no idea how much it means to me that you have, had, or are reading this.
Much like the ending of this book, from here I'm a little unsure. I might even have to leave again. I just signed up for my fall classes, and with an unability to get jobs this summer due to... reasons... I will most likely have to be working AND completing my junior year of robotics. I don't know about the future to be honest, but I know of the then and the now.
This summer, I want to update a lot. I want to write a lot. It's what I love to do after all, and I have an uncertain amount of time that I want to utilize. Coming back to wattpad was like looking back on footprints I once made in the sand that I thought maybe the tide had already swept away.
Somehow they were still there, even with the tide that had crashed into them and the new one I can see coming. I don't know when the new tide will come or what aftermath it will have, but until then I'm going to keep running and making more footprints.
Thank you Translate for making me see that there's still time. Thank you guys for encouraging me. I'm back, and I don't know for how long. But that's OK, I'll make the most of it by doing what I love.
Also oh my heck I'd like to mention something else. I became an ARMY in late 2016- early 2017 ish, and I specifically remember back then and even in 2018 when I started this book that Jungkook was considered to be the member that was the worst at English. Guys... during the two years this book was being written, he practiced and studied so hard. Our Kookie and his English have come so far, I can't even believe it.
Another thing I'd like to mention is Sam! He's a character I made keeping in mind multiple personalities of people I know in real life. I wanted him to be a supporting character originally just for Jungkook but then ultimately for you as well. And wow, most of the comments are about him XD I love him tbh, he's added a lot to this story and we stan our babysitter :3 I was really happy to see your guys reaction to him, and couldn't believe how much positive attention he got. Although I left his physical description vague, I do have an idea of what he looks like. And Emily too for that matter! I'm sure we all do. I was wondering how you guys saw him? I left their appearances so vague because I wanted to ultimately ask this. I'm curious to be honest haha.
So... yeah! As a writer, I know that this book will hold a special place in my heart. Yes it's over, but I'm going to take some time to celebrate it and what it has been to me. I'm probably going to go back, read it, and cringe a lot. Maybe do some editing, maybe some crying cuz gosh the memories XD I can't wait :'3
I'm going to stop talking now. I talk too much. A few things to close out though, for one I just want to pay tribute to:
