I ran a hand through my hair before getting up from my couch. I still have a wedding to attend to tomorrow. And I still have to get Eleanor talk to me in her normal way of talking.
Fck, Chance. I didn't know I could sound so cheesy.
Serves you right, asshole. A voice whispered in my head.

(Chance, where are thou?) I smirked as I hear Fier's voice in panic.
You're so paranoid. May I inform you na suot ko na po yung tuxedo ko. You're ruining my schedule." I rolled my eyes.
(You can't blame me Chance! This is once in a lifetime and I don't want you to miss it for the world. Anyway, why am I ruining your schedule? May gagawin ka pa bang iba? I thought you're already in your tux.
Kaso mawawala ang element of surprise so I decided to not tell her. "Don't worry about it. Basta, andyan ako mamaya. I wouldn't miss it, okay? Calm down." I heard her sigh on the other line.
(Fine. Sabi mo yan, kapag wala ka talaga dito mamaya, pahalagahan mo ang buhay mo dahil ipapamassacre kita. Tss. But Chance, take care. I'll see you later. Bye.)
"Bye, Ate." I smiled as I ended the call.
Napabuntong hininga ako as I glanced at my reflection for one last time. I grabbed my car keys at umalis na para sunduin si Eleanor sa condo nito.
This is gonna be a long day.
I pulled up infront of the building nung matanaw ko siyang nakatayo sa labas. I got out of the car and smiled at her. She never really ceases to amaze me. She looks stunning in a simple white laced dress with her hair tied into a ponytail. And what amazed me more is to realize that she was smiling while looking at me. Her smile was very familiar―that smile was the real Eleanor's smile.
"Chance!" She said before coming to me and giving me a kiss in the cheek.
"Hello, Eleanor." Tumawa lang siya so I had the chance to study her. This is more like the Eleanor I met. Nakangiti lang ako habang nakatingin sa kanya when she stopped laughing and stared at me with confusion.
"May problema ba, Chance baby?"
I smiled widely, "You called me Chance baby." I pointed out pero ganun pa din ang reaksyon niya.
