Em's P.O.V.

After the whole mall incident, we decided to just stop at Wong's Chinse Restaurant to get something to eat before going back to my house. Sophia complained about me getting her something, insisting that she wasn't hungry as she stayed quiet the entire car ride.

As we entered the house we went straight up the stairs to my room, I didn't even bother to turn off the light before throwing my bag onto the floor and plopped face first in my bed, "My feet are killing me!"

I could hear Soph chuckling a light click, I knew she cut on the light. "Your such a drama queen" She teased me as I went to turn over to release my feet from my shoes.

"Oh my gosh!" Soph suddenly stood up, her wide eyes staring at the clock. turning towards the clock it was my turn to gasp dramatically.

"Shit, we're going to miss the show!" I screeched hurling myself from my bed.

We sped down the stairs as fast as we could and threw ourselves onto the couch in the living room. I quickly turned on the TV and flipped to the right channel.

"Soph we forgot our food," I told her as I grabbed the blankets from the love seats. She made a groaning noise before running back upstairs to get our dinner, I chuckled silently.

We have been homebodies since we were kids,  all we did was watch shows and movies. We didn't have many friends growing up other than each other and that was perfect for me. With it being just the two of us for years, Sophia had become more like a sister to me, someone I would protect no matter what.

*45 minutes later*

"What the fuck!"  Sophia yelled in anger at the TV, "come on!"

"Shut up Sophia so I can't hear the damn thing" I shouted at her smacking her with my pillow without taking my eyes off the TV.

But then as the climax starts and things start to get good the worst thing imaginable happened... the doorbell ranged.

"Damn it!" Soph and I shouted at the same time. We looked at each other with knowing smiles sliding closer to each other on the couch.

"Rock, paper, sicissor...shoot!" we said in unison, slapping our fists against the palm of our hand.

"Ha, I win go get the door" Sophia shouted in victory pushing me lightly before turning back towards the TV.

I groaned getting up and walking around the couch, trying not to take my eyes away from the TV as I proceeded to try to reach for the doorknob.

"May I help you?" I said roughly, irritated that we were interrupted. The only thing I heard was a low growl, but before my head could turn to see what it was, I was pulled into a rock hard surface bruising my nose in the process. I tried to pull away from the brick wall but two arms were holding me into place. Trying and failing my heart began pounding with fear and a piercing scream left my throat.

I heard the loud pounding of pair feet on wood floors and I knew Sophia heard and was dashing to the door.

"Emmaline -" I heard Soph shout before she was cut off. I pushed and wiggled in this man's grip until I could turn my head to the other side, only to see Sophia struggling in the arms of the tall blonde statue we bumped into at the mall earlier. Tilting my head to look up I could see that the man squeezing me is Mr.Hotty, the sexy blue-eyed statue.

"Mine" A animalistic sound rumpled from Blondie freezing our screams and struggles, it scared the hell out of me and I could tell by the way Sophia was shaking violently that she was scared too.

The sight of her fearful body enraged me to the point where my teeth began grinding together. Before I let the anger explode from me I try a different tactic. Stilling in his arm I  placed two open palms on his chest, for a second I felt his body relax and I took this opportunity to push myself as far away from him as I could. I let my arm come up to wrap around the back of his head, then pulled down with all my strength while also bring my knee up as hard as I could to meet his face. He groaned painfully and fell onto the ground letting me go in the process.

I then jumped onto Blondie's back and yanked his hair painfully "Let her go!" I screamed.

He screeched loudly and dropped Sophia to try and pull me off of his back but I was stuck on him like a leech. A few seconds later a pair of arms wrapped around me yanking me off of blondie. I quickly head-butted the person hard and they released me, I quickly grab Sophia's hand and sprint into the house fully, slamming the door and locking it in the process.

"What do we do now!?" Sophia whisper shouted beside me, our back pressed against the wall next to the door.

"I don't know!" I spoke my voice trembling, my brain is on overload trying to figure out who they were and how the hell they found out where we lived. Abang on the door interrupted my thoughts and made us jump, my door was thick and strong but the way it jiggled and whined at the force of their fist against the door, I knew it won't hold them back for long.

I placed a finger on my lips signals Soph to be quiet as I made my way up the stairs as fast as I could. As we reached my room door I could hear my door being broken down and slamming towards the wood floor. We rushed inside the room closing and locking it behind us, I ran a hand through my hair not knowing what to do. But as I turn towards a shaking Sophia I knew whatever it is, whatever they want I  must keep her safe.

With that thought in mind, I gently grabbed Soph's arm and guided her through my darkroom towards my small walk-in closet. This door didn't have a lock on it so before I enter I grabbed my desk chair so I could push it against the door.

After making sure the chair was secured I looked towards Soph I saw that she was on the floor in the far corner underneath my hanging jackets, rocking back and forth and mumbling something to herself over and over.

Rushing towards her I held her close to me in my arms "It's gonna be ok, I'm going to protect you. Mais il faut être fort (but you have to be strong)" Sophia took in deep breaths before she stopped rocking and held her head up to wipe the tears that fell from her face.

The house was eerily quiet, no door or footstep or sound could be heard as I strained my ears. Then suddenly the chair that was against the door flew across the closet to smash into the wall beside us as the door was forced open. A tall shadow heaving heavily stood in the doorway, the only thing I could see was piercing blue eyes.
