Tragedy strikes Surulere as a fatal car accident takes the life of our Angel Nnewi at Adelabu Street junction. Reports show that a speeding trailer collided heavily with the car, resulting in it being flipped through the air and unto the ground. Mrs Angel was then rushed to St Anthony hospital, where she was dead on arrival.
She was an active member here in The Guardian church where she served as a CWO member, read regularly at mass and participated in several community building projects. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Julius Nnewi and her daughter, Star Nnewi, who was also in the car but managed to come out of it with a few injuries.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
