It was christmas and this year I would be going to florida with Corey and meet his family. After christmas was over of course I would be taking a trip to Kansas to spend time with Mom,Dad and Gage.
Kaitlin: Hey mom just to let you know that it will only be Colby coming home for the holidays
Mom: Oh ok well have a nice time. Kaitlin:I will and I'll be planning a trip to kansas very soon
Mom: Great I can't wait.
All our flights are today so we finish off packing and get in our cars. Colby,Sam and Jake in Sam's car and Me and Corey in corey's car. Corey plugs the aux into his phone. *What do i know Ed sheeran*

A ton of tunes later, and we were at the airport. "I can't wait for you to meet my family." Corey smiles. "i can't wait to meet them." I reply. We board the plane.
Multiple hours behind time, Corey and I had arrived in Florida. Right at this moment we were waiting for our Uber to pick us up. Whilst we wait we keep ourselves entertained playing games like rock,paper,scissors and having thumb wars.
The Uber arrived and we are on the road. I watch the landscape pass us by as we drive along.
Miles later and we had arrived at Corey's childhood home. "Ready?" He asks. "so ready." I reply, and he knocks on the door. "Hey mom." He says when she opens the door. "Corey." she replies and hugs him tight. "And you must be kaitlin." She adds embracing me into a hug.
We go inside and Corey introduces me to his three siblings: cenzey,courtney and cambrey. "Nice to meet you all." I say. We spend the afternoon hanging out and, I get to know Corey's beautiful family. we play classic christmas games: monopoly, uno and chess.

"So what do you think about those muppets." Corey asks. "they're such sweet people." i answer. I face Corey, our lips connect and we make out for a while before saying goodnight and go to sleep.
The next morning.The breakfast table was full of joyful chatter. "Let's do secret santa, we still have three days before christmas day." Cambrey suggests. "great idea." Courtney says. Cenzey writes all our names on pieces of paper and put's them in one of corey's baseball cap.
We all pick one I get Courtney.Considering I had only met Courtney yesterday I had no idea what I was going to get her. Corey and I decided to go on one last shopping trip with his siblings.
Whilst Courtney, Cenzey and Cambrey look around I pull Corey aside. "What does Courtney like." I ask in a panic "uhhh dance, makeup and dolphins." He replies. "Great thanks babe." I say kissing his cheek before going to see what I can find.
I look around for a decent amount of time before I find anything. Eventually i find a baby pink lipgloss and a glass dolphin ornament.
Christmas day , the whole family was helping with cooking the turkey meal. I made the stuffing, Corey wrapped the pigs in blankets, Courtney kept an eye on the veg and Cenzey and Cambrey set the table togher.
Ultimately, we all sit down to a magnificent meal. cheery laughter fills the air. Once we had finished we move into the living room.
The living room is quickly filled with teared paper. Finally it's time to open our secret santa's. Courtney opens hers the smile on her face gave me the feel of relief. "I'm gonna guess Cenzey." She says."Cause we talked about dolphins the day before." she adds. "Wrong, it was me." I say and she thanks me.
We go around Corey got me and he got me a cute t shirt.
