Chapter Thirty Two ~ Rose Petals & Soft Caresses

"That sounds good, there's plenty of bubbles to hide under and you have my word I won't look. I'll keep my eyes on your face the entire time, promise."

Y/N gives a nod, heat rushing to her cheeks as Taehyung gives her one final kiss before leaving the bathroom.

It's not going to be easy, she's fully aware Taehyung is new to this kind of relationship and that it won't all be smooth sailing especially now his mother is getting involved but she knows this is what she wants.

Taehyung is different, makes her feel something she never thought she would and there's absolutely no way she's going to give that up.

"You okay in there?" Tae calls out as Y/N removes her clothes before placing them down on the floor near the door, she doesn't want to risk the counter as Tae said it was covered with candles.

"Yeah, just getting in the bath now." She replies, slowly making her way back to where she remembers it to be, four big strides away from the door and slightly to the right.

Her fingers find the edge, she remembers from earlier that day when she mapped the place out that it was a high edged one so she lifts her leg high enough to clear the side and drops it down into the pleasantly warm water before repeating the process with her other leg.

"Is the water okay? Not too hot?" Taehyung asks from outside the door as she lowers herself down and feels for the bubbles so she can bring them closer to protect her modesty.

"Water is perfect Tae, you can come in now." Her cheeks fill with warmth, heart racing.

Relax, you're perfectly fine.

Taehyung seems to hesitate but finally pushes the door open, heart beating ridiculously fast as he closes it behind him and walks over.

Don't look, you promised not to look.

Eyes on her face, be a gentleman.

Taehyung does as he promised, keeping his eyes trained on her beautiful face as he kneels down by the bath and reaches over to pour them both some champagne.

"I made sure there was plenty of bubbles, know you love them." He smiles as he gently takes her hand, waits for her fingers to find the glass.

"Thanks." Y/N takes it from him with a shy smile

So fucking cute.

"If the weather is nice tomorrow we could have a picnic down by the lake, would you like that?" He takes a sip of champagne, allowing the bubbles to rest on his tongue before swallowing.

"That sounds lovely." Y/N replies, cursing her hands for shaking as she brings the glass to her lips.

This is ridiculous, why is she so nervous.

It's Taehyung, her friend Taehyung who she's known for months now.

This shouldn't be so difficult.

"I'm nervous too, you're not the only one." Taehyung says gently, eyes fond as he picks up a strawberry and brings it to her lips.

"Here, try this."

Y/N can smell the chocolate the moment it touches her lips, she smiles and allows Taehyung to feed her the treat.

"It's really good, thanks Tae." Y/N smiles as she leans back, trusting Taehyung not to break his promise.

She feels so relaxed.

"You happy baby?" Taehyung asks and her heart races at the endearment.

"I really am, thanks to you."

Taehyung can't resist leaning over to kiss her, who could blame him when she looks so radiant.

So beautiful.

So insanely adorable.

The kiss is hot, fiery and passionate. Y/N wants to pull away before she loses herself but she can’t seem to, her senses have been seduced and she can no longer think straight.

"Y/N, you're so beautiful." Taehyung whispers slowly, prolonging each letter as if to savor them. She smiles, her heart fluttering at his voice as she slowly clasps her hands on either side of his face. Never before has her name ever felt so wonderful a one, she thinks, as she leans in for another kiss and then another.

It doesn't lead to anything more as she still isn't ready and Taehyung respects that, tells her softly between kisses that he'll wait however long it takes.

Neither of them want to rush this.

Taehyung reluctantly breaks the kiss minutes later, feeding her more strawberries as the two talk and share stories.

Once the water starts to grow cold Taehyung tops it up so he can wash her hair, heart doing somersaults in his chest when he takes a moment to appreciate how fucking beautiful she is and how lucky he is to have her in his life.

Y/N relishes it, enjoys every single moment of what's probably the most romantic experience she's ever had. Taehyung is gentle, caring and so incredibly tender and she can't believe this man picked her to share this with.

He could have anyone he so desired yet he's here with her, when did she get so lucky?

Taehyung steps back out when Y/N asks, quickly rushing about the bedroom to make sure it's warm enough and that the bed is turned down.

"I'm just going to take a quick shower then will be back with you okay?" He kisses her cheek as she steps inside the bedroom moments later, fluffy towel wrapped around her. "You're so damn cute, could squeeze you." He settles instead for covering her face in chaste kisses as she laughs, then leaves her to dress as he takes a quick shower and pulls on a pair of black sweats and baggy white tee.

"Tae, would you talk to me until I fall asleep? It doesn't matter what you say, just whatever comes to mind. I find it difficult to sleep in new places, hearing your voice will help me relax." Y/N asks when the two finally get over their awkwardness and settle under the blanket.

Taehyung's heart fills with something he never expected, not so soon.

He doesn't allow himself to dwell on it for too long.

"Sure baby, anything for you."

So he talks.

Tells her funny stories that happened to him and the guys which make her laugh so hard he can't help but join in.

Tells her more about himself, slowly opening up bit by bit which in turn has her doing the same.

It's roughly an hour later when she falls asleep, cheek resting against his chest.

It's in that moment, as Taehyung kisses the crown of her head that he knows he will do absolutely anything for the woman in his arms.

And if his mother thinks for one second she can waltz in and destroy something he holds so dear she's got another thing coming.

He'll fight

And he'll win.
