Rise of the Bugs, Part One- Lost

Standing in the middle of a heated fight full of feathers, rats, and increasingly worse cat puns is probably not the best place to think, but Ladybug was trying to piece together a plan that would hopefully stop the ridiculousness of the countless reakumatizations. Ladybug was getting tired of Mr. Pigeon. It seemed like he had always been there, just waiting for his akuma. She did have to admit though, people were being nicer to the pigeons. But every time she saw the pigeons flying in formation, she wanted to run to the top of the Eiffel Tower's spire and scream. But this fight was particularly taxing, because the STUPID RATS HAD TO JOIN IN AS WELL. She idly wondered what Hawkmoth had named him this time. Ratty Pigeon?

"Ladybug!" Chat Noir yelled, jolting her out of the reverie,"a little help would be appreciated!" Ladybug sighed.

"Coming, kitty!" A pigeon dove for Ladybug's eyes, which was *gasp* ineffective, seeing as she batted it aside with her magic yo-yo without a second thought.

But in those milliseconds the yo-yo was out of sight, the compartment opened. A magic compartment rarely opens by mistake, and it's even more rare that it closes itself.

A box patterned with ladybug spots sailed out. A box containing a miraculous.

It landed in a pile of odds and ends that had exploded out of a girl's bag. She was only here to film the two superheroes for a project. She kicked away rats as they attempted to nose their way through her stuff. She finally picked up a bag full of pretzels, punched it a few times to crush its contents, opened the bag, and threw it carefully into the fray so that crumbs would stay away from the spilled contents of her bag. She took advantage of the ensuing frenzy to scoop up everything she could- including the box.

For the second time in Ladybug's career, a miraculous had been stolen.
