"It started with a whisper and that was when I kissed her!" Shinsou continued, his smile growing wider as he sang. "And then she made my lips hurt. I could hear the chit chat." He saw as Denki watched in amazement, eyes never leaving him. "Take me to your love shack. Mama's always gotta backtrack when everybody talks back." He pulled his mouth away from the mic for a moment, eyes squeezed shut before he started the second verse.

"Hey, honey, you could be my drug, you could be my new prescription." Shinsou looked to Kirishima, who seemed to be intently watching Bakugou. "Too much could be an overdose! All this trash talk makes me itchin'," he practically yelled into the microphone, which thankfully didn't crackle from the extra volume. "Oh my, my. Everybody talks. Everybody talks. Everybody talks--"

"--too much," Bakugou said into the microphone in front of him next to the drums, earning a laugh from Kaminari, a chuckle from Kirishima, and a grin from his bandmates. Shinsou nodded at Jirou, and they both put their lips up to their mics.

"It started with a whisper, and that was when I kissed her," they repeated the chorus, singing together. "And then she made my lips hurt. I could hear the chit chat." Shinsou watched as more people started to enter the cafe from outside, most likely wondering what all the noise was about. "Take me to your love shack. Mama's always gotta backtrack when everybody talks back." Shinsou grinned at the small forming audience in the shop, cheering the band on.

"Never thought I'd live to see the day," Shinsou sang by himself now, slightly lowering his voice, "when everybody's words got in the way." He dragged out the last note before shouting, "Oh!", going into a short guitar solo, his fingers dancing across the strings.

"Hey, sugar, show me all your love, all you're giving me is friction." He watched the small audience clapping to the beat, Denki and Kirishima joining in. "Hey, sugar, whatcha' gotta say?" Shinsou sang, slapping his hand on the strings to stop a chord short.

"It started with a whisper, and that was when I kissed her," all three band members now sang. "And then she made my lips hurt. I could hear the chit chat." Their voices, despite being very different, blended together well. "Take me to your love shack. Mama's always gotta backtrack when everybody talks back," they sang the last chorus.

"Everybody talks. Everybody talks," Shinsou chanted as his bandmates sang the backup vocals behind him. "Everybody talks. Everybody talks." Shinsou really hoped Denki liked the song. "Everybody talks. Everybody talks back." After all, he chose it for him. It was weird really.

"It started with a whisper." Even though he was almost a complete stranger, there was something about the blond that made him want to do things just for him. "And that was when I kissed her." He made Shinsou want to make him happy.

"Everybody talks. Everybody talks back!" the three concluded the song together, Shinsou giving a slight grunt as he strummed the last chord on the guitar. The small crowd cheered. As soon as they realized the band wasn't going to play anymore by the way they were cleaning up their things, the crowd slowly poured out the door, until only Kirishima, Kaminari, and the three band members remained.

"That was amazing!" Denki was the first to speak up as Shinsou got down from the stage.

"Thanks," he said as he felt his blush return, the warmth making his ears and face tingle as he urged it to go away.

"The way you played that guitar was awesome!" Shinsou chuckled, smiling. After another moment, Denki asked, "Hey, dude, do you maybe think I could get your number?" Shinsou had to stop for a second, not thinking he heard that correctly. "'Ya know, to, like, be able to come to more of your shows? You guys are really good!" If he wanted his blush to go away before, Shinsou knew it definitely wouldn't now.

Kirishima crept up behind them. "Wow, that was forward," he said as the blond tried to swat him away.

"Shut it!" he hissed. Shrugging, Kirishima walked off to help Bakugou clean up. "Sorry about him." Shinsou laughed awkwardly, that hand going up to his neck once again.

"It's fine. And, uh, sure." He tried not to sound too excited about Denki asking for his number. The blond handed him his phone, smiling as Shinsou input his phone number before handing it back. They stood there in awkward silence for a moment before Bakugou interrupted them, grabbing Shinsou by his wrist and dragging him behind him. He noticed he was doing the same with Jirou.

"Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds," Bakugou emphasized the last word, looking back to see Kaminari blushing, "but we have band practice to get to." Shinsou tried to struggle out of the blond's grasp, but to no avail. He called goodbye to the baristas as he was dragged out the door, happy he at least now had Denki's number.
