Part 5-Feelings in the Dark

"And by the way , why did you wanted to call that guy again?" I asked

"I was thinking If we could ask more from him , well never mind .. let's just go to the Director first."

We drove up to an unfamiliar elite area as huge mansions came into view

"Woah , talk about being a director" I spoke impressed

"I know right" she couldn't help but agree

Matching the address written on the paper with the plate by the side of gate , I parked the car as we go to our.

"Are we at the right address?" Y/n asked

"Yea , this should be it ." I said as we gazed at the HUGE Mansion in front of us , surrounded by greenery all around .

I pressed on the bell

"Who is it ?" A rigid voice was heard

"Ah we are form the Bangtan investigation Apartment , we are here to talk to Mr James Cole" I spoke and it wasn't too long after the gate opened with a buzz sound.

There was a pavement in between that went all the way towards the main door , separating the garden in two , We made our way towards the main door and the door opened before we knocked ..

"Hello" A man probably the house keeper of the house greeted

"Hello , we are from the ."

"Yeah I know , you can proceed." He spoke gently .

"Alright thanks" y/n smiled

We stepped inside as the clicks of our shoes echoed within the hall.

It was dark inside

"Jungkook , I have a bad feeling , are you sure this isn't any kind of trap?" Y/n snuggled close to me and she grabbed my sleeve

"Relax" I spoke to her as I held her hand.

And

That was it , I never thought that a simple touch of hand would bring so much of feels inside me ..

For a moment , we both stayed like that , staring into each other's eyes , trying to find the meaning of the feeling that was circulating around us ..

My stomach twitched at feeling the softness of her hand.

The dark surroundings just made the matters worse , it was hard to concentrate anywhere else , when you can't see anything except the person standing in front of you.. it was hard...

And then all of a sudden , our little happy moment was ruined by a light that suddenly snapped .

"Here you are" a female voice spoke as y/n let go of my sleeve and I fixed it ..

"Yes hello, we are from the Bangtan department" y/n introduced

"Welcome." The middle aged lady smiled

"Ah you must be?" I asked

"I am James wife , Hayley Cole" she pulled yet another gentle smile ..

"Hello Ma'am"both of us greeted her in unison

"Actually we are here to ask you some questions."

"Yea sure go ahead!"

"I am sorry I am asking something personal but it was necessary."Y/n spoke and continued "you can refuse to answer them if you want."

"No it's alright." She smiled

"Actually we wanted to ask you about your married life." I spoke

"Just tell us how Mr James Cole is with you,his behaviour towards you and all."y/n said

"Well , we got married 15 years ago , it was love .." she smiled before continuing "we were really happy , he was a great man , a really caring husband."

Was?

"Not that he isn't now." She laughed

"After 3 years of our marriage , we decided to have a family , but unfortunately the doctor told me I couldn't bare children." She said as her eyes saddened ..

"I thought he would leave , but her didn't , he consoled me and told me that he would always love me." She stopped before continuing "the rest of the years continued like usual , he would buy me expensive gifts on my birthdays and our anniversaries , he was a really loving husband."

Was again...?

"Hahah not that he isn't now." She laughed again..

"And what else?" Y/n pressed her to continue but she didn't

"That's all!" She smiled

"Are you sure Ma'am , are you sure you aren't hiding something from us ?"I asked looking at her in her eye ..

"Y-Yea" she said avoiding my gaze

She is lying..

"Okay then we will be going , thank you for time , take care." And with that we both left her house

We both said in unison as we made our way to the car..
