32- A mess

"Maybe I should do it more often" she says with an equally mischievous smile

We sit down to have dinner.

"Come to the studio tomorrow"

"No I'll end up being a bother. With the comeback so close I don't-"

"Ayanna, you're never a bother. And I wasnt asking, I'm telling you to come to the studio tomorrow. The guys want to meet you too. You haven't met them since ALL THAT happened"

"Aha all the more reason to not come. I'll distract y'all and that's the last thing you need"

"Yah! Listen to me for once! I'm dragging your ass to the studio whether you like it or not. It's final"

She sits there with a defeated pout

"Oh my gosh to you do aegyo now?"

She laughs.

"I've been caught" she says as she puts her hands up in defeat

"Really smart of you to bring sandwiches." She says as she waves the the wrapper

"Ahh I'm hurt~" I say as I mock stab my heart "did you think I would forget?"

"No but you think about the little things and I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate it" she says as she stands up and gives me a little peck on my cheek.

....

I start cleaning up and she goes to the bathroom when I hear her let out a little scream

"What?!" I say as I look into the open doorway

"My hair is so grubby. I was supposed to take a shower but-" she waves her bandaged hand.

"Ahhhhh-" I say before adding "do you want me to wash it for you?"

"What?!" she says, violently blushing

I can't help but laugh at her nervousness

"Oh come on Ayanna! It's not that big of a deal! Sheesh!" I say as I go around the apartment searching for a stool. I find a step stool and bring it in the bathroom.

"Go and get a towel and make yourself comfortable"

Her POV

Unsure of what to do next I do as he says, sitting on the stool in my oversized tee.

"Just a warning, nobody has done this for me before so if I'm awkward-"

"You think I've done this before?!" He says laughing, "but how hard can it be?" He says as uses the handshower to wet my hair.

"I love your shampoo" he says as he pours some out

"I bet yours is better though" I say with a chuckle

"Ah but yours reminds me of you~" he says as he massages my head and I find myself leaning back

"You're a cat aren't you" he says while laughing

I meow in response

"Why am I not surprised at this point?" He says as he leans forward and looks at my face, putting foam on my nose

"Yah! Namjoon what the-"

"Shush!" he says as he continues to wash my hair.

He finishes up with a triumphant "All done!" Before he walks out of the bathroom to let me finish up

Namjoon's POV

I change my clothes and lay on her bed, thinking about how surreal all of this is. But it soon turns into me thinking about work

The album was gonna be out in a month.

The hectic schedule was gonna begin in a day.

This was my only free day before it all begins.

She comes out of the shower, her hair in a towel burrito, smiling

I'm glad she's by my side this time

"What are you looking at!?" She says in mock annoyance, a mischievous grin appearing on her face

"Ahhh jagiya~" I say as I get up and wrap my arms around her waist from behind

Her POV

He places his head on my shoulder as he hugs me.

"Ahhh Joonie you're gonna get soaked because of my hair too! Let go!"

"I'm never letting you go" he says as he turns me around, me looking up at him.

He's smiling THAT smile.

The one I've come to recognise as mine.

How did I get so lucky?

I bury myself in his sweatshirt as we move slowly, like we're dancing to music.
He starts humming a tune as he slowly twirls me, careful about my hand, and we just dance there, in my bedroom.

"I've never heard that one before"

"Consider it your sneak peek"

I can't help but laugh as he and I hum and sway for a while...
