The four of us cheered as we ran into the lab. Another successful mission under our belts and we were feeling pretty good about ourselves. Up until-

"Guys That was awesome! You just prevented the biggest oil spill in history!" Leo congratulated us.

"Heck yeah we did." I grinned giving him two low high fives.

"Pretty slick huh." Chase joked

"If only you could have prevented that disaster of a pun." Leo shot back walking away.

"hey, Mr. Davenport. Anything you'd like to say to us? Rhymes with 'good job'." Bree asked as the man himself walked over to us.

"The answer's in the clue." Adam staged whispered, causing me to giggle, which made Adam tug the ends of my braids.

"What were you guys thinking?" He demanded. Well that wiped the smile right off my face.

"Nope! Not even close. Two more guesses." Adam grinned. I rolled my eyes and leaned back into the cyber desk.

"You completely ignored my mission plans, improvised everything, and jeopardized the entire mission." He scolded.

"Mr. Davenport we save the world all the time. All you do is sit around and make lists of things we did wrong!" Chase protested.

"I do not just sit around... and make lists of things you did wrong." His voice trailed off as he looked at his tablet before he hugged it to his chest.

"That's true. He also practiced taekwondo in his tighty whities." Leo shuttered. I grabbed my phone off the desk and glanced at the video attachments Eddy sent me.

"Aw, dude that's so nasty." I groaned immediately passing it to Bree.

"They are not tighty whities! They are breathable boxer sized briefs!" He defended.

"Are you sure about that?" Bree sassed dangling my phone in front of his eyes. Mr. Davenports eyes widened and he snatched the phone.

"Whatever they are, keep you high kicks away from my screen!" Eddy piped up.

"You guys got lucky this time, but without my precise planning you set yourselves up for disaster." Davenport scolded handing Bree my phone back. "So just follow my orders!" He walked away and stoped as Chase piped up.

"Well, maybe your orders aren't always right."  Davenport turned to glare at him, walking back over.

"Umm, excuse me?"

"Uhhh. He said 'well, maybe your-'" Adam started

"I heard him!" Davenport yelled, cutting Adam off. Davenport stormed off. Leo pulled up to his desk trying to stay out of it.

"Would it kill him to say good job just once?" I groaned burying my face against Adam's back

I blearily walked into the kitchen behind my older siblings, I've been having Ella dreams all week. She just keeps warning me of something bad that's going to happen and not to trust Marcus. Basically, I haven't been sleeping well and instead spent more time in the attack trying to figure more out about my mom. All I have is her name was Addison Rhodes and she had Adam at 19. She died shortly after my third birthday. Strange thing is, none of us can remember anything about her.

"Hey guys don't forget, training after school. Four pm sharp." Davenport reminded.

"But that's not fair! Janelle and I were supposed to talk to the mayor today about the walk." I protested instantly. "You promised,"
