Willows POV
Mr. Davenport gathered my siblings and I to the cyber desk to talk about school. "Okay guys, You've been trained for all kinds of missions. But your about to enter a soul bruising, confidence crushing, apocalyptic environment: High School." Mr. Davenport shuttered. "Adam, Bree, and Willow your glitch test results are fairly stable."
"Yes I'm going to school." Bree cheered
"I'm fairly stable!" Adam said just as excitedly.
"I can make friends who I'm not related or by marriage related to." I added for my own benefit.
"No boys." Adam said seriously, turning to look me dead in the eye.
"Good luck with that." I patted his shoulder and he shook his head.
"Chase I'm still concerned about your commando app." Mr. Davenport drew the conversation back to the topic at hand.
"Commando app?! Put on some underpants we're going to school." Leo told him, making a face.
"No, see, in the face of danger or threat Chase's Commando app kicks in and he becomes a fearless brute, I like to call Spike. It's kinda like a fight or flight thing, except I took out the flight part cause it's useless, and I put in a legal like a Tasmanian tiger, wolverine, lion-shark hybrid, that's mad." Mr. Davenport explained. Leo soaked up his every word excitedly.
"Don't worry Mr Davenport I promise Spike won't rear his ugly head." Chase soothed.
"Oh yeah, You mean like last Christmas when I made the mistake of getting Adam boxing gloves?" He asked rhetorically.
Spike growled as he threw a yellow container across the room. Bree, Mr. Davenport and I were behind the flipped cyber desk.
"Is anyone else confused about the no punch me rule." Spike growled his foot on Adams chest in a fighting stance.
"Ugh, I'm still coughing up tinsel." Adam whined, blowing out a breath.
"You know letting Chase go to school is a bad idea. I can't risk Spike coming out." Mr. Davenport decided with a frown and started walking away. Leo followed him.
"Oh, Come on Big D, Chase has to come. With these guys I get a prime spot in the cafeteria. That's right y'all put on your coats, 'cause I'm about to ride your tail." Leo grinned and mimed riding a horse.
"Don't worry. We'll make sure he stays out of trouble," I promised, giving Chase a side hug, "Right guys?" I leaned back a bit to give my other siblings a pleading look. "Yeah, it's all for one and one for all." Bree clarified. "Unless of course you make me look bad, in which case I am dropping you lameos."
"Mr. Davenport I can't miss school. This is the beginning of my academic achievements and career development. I mean, the road to astronaut layer has to start somewhere." Chase pleaded his case.
