tw: there's a scene that talks about food habits briefly and if that bothers you look out for the * signaling it's starting and ** for it's ending. "Oh, Check out what I've done with my locker!" Adam said excitedly leading Bree and I to his locker. When he opened it it looked kinda like a child's mind threw up. There was a pile of food at the bottom, string lights, a squishy toy hanging off the hook, and a todo list on the door above tiny dinosaur figurines. Adam pulled on the squishy and looked at us expectantly, I gave a thumbs up without meaning a second of it. "Here's where I keep my books." Adam said pointing to the top part. "Here I keep random strands of hair to make fake mustaches." I closed my eyes.I was feeling a little nauseous. "And here's where I keep old lunches or as I call them, tum tum yum yums." Adam finished pointing to the bottom of his locker. Bree grabbed my arm and we slowly turned away from the sight, seeing Leo immediately after.
"Hey Leo what's that?" Bree asked pointing the paper in Leo's hands.
"My progress report," he answered, "I can't believe my science teacher says I'm always late to class!"
"You are always late to class." Adam told him confusedly. While he was distracted I slipped behind him and caught fire to his tum tum yum yums kr whatever he called them.
"I know that, but I don't need it publicized." Adam turned back to his locker and saw the fire.
"Willow!" He snapped.
"Willlw that's a saftey hazard." Leo scolded.
"So was his food!" I defended unscrewing my water bottle to put out the fire. Already used my bionics once today don't need people seeing it twice. As I was doing this Chase ran up to us.
"Look at this! an A-. I knew my Home Ec teacher had it out for me. Always criticizing my muffins."
"Ha ha I beat you I got a D+. Plus because I'm better." Adam cheered.
"Adam the plus is- you know what never mind it's not even worth it anymore." Bree realized turning away from him.
"D isn't a good grade but we don't expect you to get good grades so." Chase insulted. "I'm engineered to be the smartest person on the planet, and I just got an A minus! I've been relegated through the hollow unwashed masses if minuses, like you!" I leaned over the whisper in Leo's ear, "I don't understand half of what he just said but I'm not gonna ask."
"Agreed."
"Chase, I k kw this must be hard for you, but I mean- look at the bright side. Seeing you fall flat on your face is really fun for us!" Bree comforted.
"I've got to find a way to reclaim my superiority." Chase scoffed.
"Well, you could sign up for the Student of the Semester competition." Leo suggested.
"What's that?" Chase and I asked in sync.
"Every semester, kids compete to see who can best improve the school. Whoever gets the most votes wins free pencils, a bumper sticker, and a cheese picture of himself on the wall!" Leo pointed to said picture of the current girl.
