I got off the 40 bus and walked home to see my moms white toyota in the drive way. "I thought she went to aunties house?" You checked the mail then took your keys out your backpack and unlocked your black screen door. Someone quickly unlock the wooden door before you could and opened it wide it was your mom! She welcomed you back home with excitement and said she had a surprise! You were already having a crappy day so this changed your mood into excitement. "What is it?" You said with a smile she pointed behind the door so you ran behind the door to see... Your sister that you haven't heard from in five years! Your smile had faded and your mood quickly turned from excitement to enraged. "Why the fuck are you here!" Your mother already interjected and tell you to calm down and behave. "You know better than anyone that she abandoned me and block me from ever contacting her!" She made the same excuse that she always made "She is going through a hard time you know her mother died!" This only made you sick "That was SEVEN YEARS AGO! Don't blame death for her going MIA on me! And Dad! And her brother!" Now your mother was in your face ordering you to apologize! "No." You stated with a straight face your turned your head to your half sister. "Get Out!" Your mother was all up on you talking about whatever you couldn't believe she was taking the side 33 year old woman white woman who isn't even related to her! That's my fathers child not hers she wouldn't even know her if it wasn't for me. She should focus on her own kids instead of helping everyone else's kids... At this point your mother was only getting louder pushing you against the door. You shoved her body away from yours and walked out of the house to blow off some steam you were pissed.

You walked up 109th and took a left on MacArthur and walked into FoodsCo to get frosted cookies they were always your favorite. You waited in line but you felt someone was staring you thought maybe it was Dynasty she was a friend from your highschool that worked at foodsCo but you didn't see her. The store was packed so maybe that's why or maybe it was your mom and she was looking for you... You paid for your cookies and left the store you walked up the driveway that lead to the 57 bus stop that was located behind the store so you had some walking to do. You wondered where would you go... 'I could always go to my great aunts house again. This isn't the first time I've been put out of the house over favoritism. I'm sure she'll understand but she's getting too old to deal with mother daughter drama. Maybe my cousin could let me stay for a couple of days but I need to get school clothes if I'm staying the night.'

While you tried to think of your living situation for a few days you couldn't shake the feeling of you being watched. Maybe it was one of your noisy ass neighbors going back to snitch about your business to your mom. You didn't care as long as they didn't talk or approach you. You honestly just wanted to be alone to coop with all of this anger. You wanted to call your eldest brother, he was the only one who felt the betrayal of our mother's toxic venom. He would understand if I told him what happened. You never was one of those teenagers who bottles up their emotions and thought oh no you were the one to tell it as it was and how you felt to anyone that cared. Although mother would twist the story every time they tried to hear her side which always pissed you off. You heard the squeak of old breaks which you assumed was your bus.

The 57 to emeryville it read. "Here we go." You'd figure out a plan once you go to the bank. You needed to deposit cash into your card so you could buy dinner tonight in case no one was cooking. You see, you were a pescatarian and have been for 4 years not by choice of course. You developed a meat intolerance at a young age sadly. So most meat pork, chicken and beef made you either vomit or gave you stomach cramps with diarrhea and cold sweats. It was very strange but you were happy with your eating life style.

You lost a little weight ever since the change and are happy with the healthy benefits of it. Of course your older family members didn't grasp the concept of it. They were confused on how meat made you sick and noticed I had lost some weight and were worried about my well-being. Which I am very thankful to have my elders to be worried of my health but if anything I've been healthier than I've ever been. I've never been fat but I've never been skinny either so they were used to that body type. So now that I've lost a little in my stomach they went panic mode and gave me big plates of food ever time were to come over. Of course the main food would be burgers or meat ball or stake and as much as it look good I couldn't eat it. They thought I was being picky and of course that wasn't it I would eat everything my family cooked. So I talked to my doctor last week and she gave me a packet explaining my little condition and I mailed and emailed copies to each and every one of my family members young or old so they could understand better. To which they did well everyone did except my great grandmother. She was very loving and caring but she didn't understand it. She grew up in the ways of the south and had homemade remedies for everything! So she believed if I drank alovera oil and eat her cooking I'd be fine and god I wish that were true but sadly it wasn't. Although it was amusing and sweet to see her try I stated that I couldn't do it. She respected my decision as a young adult but she would still offer some or sneak some on my plate to see what I would do. It was honestly funny especially on holidays like thanksgiving the holiday that revolves around a huge dead animal.

As I was reminiscing of last week I realized I missed my stop or did I? You see the 57 usually went in a straight line to the bank but we were driving on a unfamiliar street all you could see were tall trees around the road. I decided to ask a passenger that was sitting in front of me. "Excuse me miss why are we on this street?" She turned around and politely told you there was a huge oil spill on the usual street so they had a lot of the usual route block off so we're taking a detour. I nodded and thanked her and looked to my phone to see if I had missed my stop and sure enough we passed it. Which means the bank is probably closed because of the accident. I decided to pull the ringer to get off and wait for the next bus back. It's better than being all the way in emeryville. I waited for the bus to stop and then got off and crossed the street to take the next bus back.

"If I could take this bus it'll drop me off at eastmont were I can transfer buses..." I thought that if I could take this bus back I could transfer buses which might take me longer but I had time to kill. I still had my frosted cookies to munch on too bad I didn't have any water to go which it. "I should of bought some while I was at foodsco but then again you didn't know the bus would take a long ass detour!

I took out my phone and check how much battery juice I had left. I pushed the little power button to power it on. I never use my phone since I always on my iPad to get things done. My phone could make calls so I take it with if I ever leave the house by myself which is rare. It reads 5:09 pm January 30 202x 50%. "Okay good I still got some juice!" I decided that I would shoot your great aunt a text that you would come over for mother and daughter issues. She didn't ask questions she already knows what's up.

"Okay now what..." I pondered to myself. I looked up that the bus stop then looked left then right. "No bus Hmm." I decided to check how long it would take the bus to come. It read it would take only 10 minutes for the first one 25 for the second one and 45 for the last bus. "I pick the 10 minute one for 400 sir." You smiled at the little reference you made. My mood felt like it was already being lifted. I put my phone back in my pocket, put my cookies down on the bench next to the bus sign and straighten out my clothes. You pulled your baggy jeans up so they fit more comfortably and pulled up your big sweatshirt then tucked your tangtop into your pants and pulled your big sweatshirt back down over your pants and pulled up the sleeves of your sweatshirt so your arms could be free then pulled your hood so your ears could stay warm. I felt way more relaxed now that I got myself together.

"Oh I almost forgot!" My shoes were untied I bent down to retie them and as I was tying my shoes laces I heard screeching tires behind me. I sighed thinking a side show was starting up. This was the perfect place to start one too. The street was big enough and there are no signs of the police to stop them. Although my thoughts of it were quickly gone once the car stop were I was crouched. I quickly stood straight and looked at the jet black van that was now in front of me. A woman got out of the car and started talking to me in some language I didn't understand.

You were trying to process the situation but while you were focused on her you didn't realize there was a man behind you. He used is arm to hold you still from behind and chloroformed you until you stop struggling and everything suddenly went black for you as the man put you in the back seat of the truck. The woman bonded your arms and legs together and stepped back into the truck and drove away as your bus approached the bus stop where you once waited.
