It's been five months since Kai and I became together. It's not easy of course. Paminsan-minsan nag-aaway but at the end of the day, magkakabati rin naman and we're not just a simple clingy couple na puro landian lang ang alam.
We helped each other out. He's been teaching me in the subjects I'm not good at and I'm also helping him with his written reports. We complement each other to the point na sinasabi na ng buong SPC that we're a great couple.
"Love." I looked at Kai with nervousness. Nanginginig pa ang mga kamay ko nang humawak ako sa braso niya.
We've been standing in the entrance for almost an hour now, waiting for the results of the DL. I know that I've been doing great in the whole second sem but I can't still help but to be nervous! So many questions were wandering inside my head: Nakapasa ba ako? Nabawi ko ba 'yong place ko? Tumaas ba 'yong grades ko? Ano na?!
I heard Kai chuckled as he holds my trembling hand. He kissed my forehead to calm me down and smiled at me. "I love you."
"I love you too." I answered, smiling back.
"Orb ayan na!" Siniko ni Roi si Kai kaya nabaling ang tingin namin sa staff na nagpaskil ng results.
I breathed heavily and covered my eyes with my other hand when the students starts to look at the tarpulin. Parang naiihi na ako sa kaba to the point na parang ayoko nalang tingnan 'yong mga pangalan.
"Ayen! Ayen!" Lance and Roi said in unison trying to pull me closer to the bulletin board.
"Love." Kai whispered, getting my other hand out of my sight. "Tingin ka na."
I slowly opened my eyes and I felt some tears rolled down my eyes when I saw my name next to Kai's. Shit! Top two!
Napatingin ako kela Kai habang naiiyak pa rin. "Shit. Totoo ba 'to?"
They all nodded while smiling, assuring me that it's all true. Nag thumbs up pa si Roi at Lance na para bang proud na proud sila sa akin.
"Fuck. My hardwork got paid off." I said in almost a whisper.
Kaagad kong niyakap nang mahigpit si Kai at pinaikot-ikot niya naman ako saglit. He then kissed my forehead after putting me down with a genuine smile in his face.
"Congratulations, my love." He proudly said. "Your hard work got its price."
